blizzard not giving out keys anymore bcoz open beta will be started soon. now only could get from ferns or good hearted forumers

not really, blue mentioned everyone that opted in will have the chance to play before open beta.

don't know recently my luck is all gone..
keep losing in play and arena mode.....
whatever i use any class, just lose all the way
already tried so many combinations of card but still don't work
damn the card system
always draw the card in the wrong time

or my skill is not mature enough~~~ lolz
may be need to rest for a while

“Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft,” a free card game offered by Blizzard, will enter its open beta next month ahead of a release date slated for 2014.

Blizzard chief Rob Pardo last week made the announcement, saying the beta begins in December, but as IGN notes, the game could be released in January.

There will also be Android and iPhone versions of the game.

A number of people have been trying to get beta keys over the past few weeks, but the open beta in December won’t require them, reports say. The keys stopped being given out as of late October.

In a recent interview, Hearthstone production director Jason Chayes talked about heroes and card expansions.

“We feel pretty good with the nine heroes we have right now,” Chayes told Gamespot. “In terms of expanding beyond that, that’s definitely feedback we’ve gotten from the beta.”

He elaborated: “People have given us a lot of feedback, like ‘yeah, it would be awesome if I had a different hero I could pick from, a different Warrior, a different Priest.’ In terms of how we actually go and add that in as a separate feature, it’s still a little too early to say. We’re focused on making the nine core heroes that we have right now feel awesome, but that’s definitely something that we’ll be thinking about as we move into the next phase of our roadmap.”

Blizzard developers said that a ranked system is being worked on. According to Joystiq, the game has 25 ranks and as one wins more matches, they will get ranked higher.

Blizzard said that more than 1 million players have participated in the closed beta, while around 44 percent of people who reached the top tier did not pay any money.

There also appears to be a single-player version of the game that will be included, but details of this are not clear.

Wish I could go. Alas got other things planned that day.

i just found out my decks have many holes = easily defeat , a lot controls epics and rares haven have yet , sound like the tourney i will play casual oh well

Even completed decks could still lose if you have bad hand lol

its the draw that matters...i hate those times where, u discard 3/4 cards at the starts then comes all 5 mana above cards, and when u draw, u draw some those small minions with no charge when opponent already have board controls.

even with good selection of cards, we still need to depend on drawing luck, like against a Mage, by the time get board control already down with 15 below health with no healing card, then its gonna be trouble ...Fireball Fireball Pyro..playing against Mage need to keep health above 15 to be safe. i main a pally and i rather face priest than a mage if given a choice.

I've just met a rush mage last night use hero power damage the Amani Berserker then combo with Mana Wyrm + few early spells , while my side oni have cost 4 ~ 5 minions with no taunts , dead end , bad hands

I didn't expect to get picked for the tourney, last minute entry. Was busy playing COD Ghost the past couple of days.... so have to drop everything and get serious back on Stoning for Sunday

Your mage deck got really lucky with that iceblock and Alex... otherwise you eat angry Grom. realise too I can't smack Grom with my own weapon... wat gives??!?

Was thinking of something not too common in current meta. Perhaps Secret Hunter?
