Do note that if you can get 7 wins or better in arena, you've basically earned back your investment in gold, since the gold payout is more than 150.
And occasionally you'll get two packs if you manage to get 9 wins.

This is my reward for getting my first 9-2 arena run in a very long time. Started the run with a lost some more. Also got a golden misdirection rare:

yeah, yesterday i had like 500+ gold and ended up losing all of it due to horrible arena runs. Ended up paying a few times and finally got my first 9-2 run in about 7 tries....

lol how did the mage delay that dude so long without outright killing it.

Fun times

The story goes something like this, I bless my gurubashi dude with the +2 health spell, then inner fire to get a 9/9 dude.
He uses faceless manipulator to copy my dude. Then I mind control his gurubashi dude, granting me two overpowered dudes. He plays ragnaros but it didn't hit either of them, so next turn it was GG.

Just finished an 8-3 arena run with Paladin. Boy can arena be brutal to you sometimes.

Two of the losses could have been a win for me if not for overwhelming factors.

Loss 1: Had enough damage to kill him next turn. The mage then proceeded to freeze all my guys for three turns using 3 cone of colds and was able to take over the game.

Loss 2: Another mage. I was prepared to play around 2-3 flamestrikes that mages normally have. Unfortunately for me, He played 4 straight flame strikes on me to clear my board. Then it was top deck mode and the game was still close. Guess what? He had a fifth flame strike to seal the game.

Loss 3: Not as close, but the dude did have three hexes to stop my key allies and roll me over.

Fortunately, I was compensated well in that run, but it does get frustrating when you are forced against impossible odds.....

Nope, no guarantee. 9 wins normally gets you 2 packs, which could be crap. Or you get one pack and a golden card. Again, both could be crappy cards, so no guarantee

Ya same here, this is my first time getting 9-0.

Played my best class, paladin.

I would only pick faceless if I didn't have any big drops in my draft. So I use it as substitute for a big drop, obviously you wanna remove theirs, too.

Wish I could go. Alas got other things planned that day.

Best fun play of the week for me, had spell bender secret on my hero, then the guy played a blessing of kings. Guess what? I get a 5/7 spell bender in play. Too bad he used blessing of wisdom on it a turn later, then copied it using faceless manipulator. Fun times though
