Probably lousy grip tire which treads last forever despite already getting brittle and cracking! From which country is this brand?

Anyway checked with Leon of QuickSave Subang, he's now promoting Giti Control 280 ...

225/45/17 @ $298 non RFT (280)
225/45/18 @ $729 RFT (229)
225/45/18 @ $380 non RFT (281)

Treadwear at amazing 380 AA

Rovelo Sport A1
225/45/18 @ $238 treadwear 340 AA

Looks good... Very tempting

Also low end China/Vietnam tires which I would not consider to buy at all, not even for my wife's slow car. If really budget restricted, I'd rather buy used but top brand tires like Michelin/Goodyear/Continental etc2. than those low end stuff. If you want good value for money tires, buy Hankook V12 Evo2 (UTQG rating 320/AA/A), only around rm350 for that same size (I'm not Hankook salesman or in anyway tied to Hankook ya). If really cannot afford good new 18' tires then just downgrade your rims to smaller size like 17'.

Any recommendation for 235/55/19? First time looking for SUV tires. Found continental CSC5 SUV and Cross Contact UHP with this size. Michelin has Latitude Tour HP. Anyone tried these tires and what about the pricing?

This is just my short rant..and a personal opinion

Seriously, i just couldn't brain those who can afford an expensive monthly installment for a car..but when it comes to tyres, always going for the cheapest, and worse, going for a worn out secondhand tyres

Like seriously... U risk ur well being just for a mere 100-200 ringgit discounts..smh

agreed. tyre and brakes are things that I wouldn't compromise. I nearly got into accident the other day due to a sohai came out without looking for oncoming cars. resulted me bang to opposite lane, luckily no oncoming cars from opposite. if not I die ad. F that driver cb, just drove off immediately.

Would like to check, if Michelin PS3 or PS4, come out with tyre profile of 185/55/16?

Otherwise, I will have to resort to XM2 for that size.

any recommendation to get these tyres at a good bargain price? preferably Klang or PJ or Subang area. those at front page are like quite dated already.

Thanks and have a good Sunday folks.

Hi guys, im changing a pair of my pair of rear tyres sometime soon (probably gonna last another 5k km). Its for 255/40R18.

I cant decide between Continental CSC 5 SSR, Michelin PS 3 and Bridgestone Potenza S001. Anyone has any experience with these mentioned tyres? Thanks!

yes. I don't mind if my car is an ugly looking car, even without air-cond or such. But when it comes to tyres & brakes, no compromise.

I'd no experience with the other 2 u mentioned, but i'd use Michelin PS3 (both 195/50/15 & 205/45/16), so i'm not sure if the 15/16" tyre would be giving a different
experience compared to 18" tyres, but i gotta tell ya, the PS3, is probably one of the best, if not the best tyres i'd ever used (and i'd been using a variant kind of tyres during
my time of driving)
