If want the best tire regardless of budget: Michelin PS4 or Continental Extreme Contact.
If want best value for money: Hankook V12 Evo2 or S1 Evo2.

hi guys,
currently driving honda city v spec stock rim , 185/55 r16

can recommend which one to use and the price between
CC6 vs Toyo NE3 vs Bridgestone Turanza ER300?

Prefer comfort/less noise and also average handling/grip

Thanks!

IVE used ne3 and am currently on cc6.. stock to ne3 for better grip and it’s quite quiet also.. the cc6 is too soft so u have to pump higher psi and have much less grip imho...

thanks for the reply bro.

actually i have scope down to xm2 cc6 and ne3

will need to go check the price for xm2, if price is okay will take this over cc6/ne3.

based on forums, correct me if i am wrong

cc6:
pros: comfortable & quiet & newer technology
cons: short lifespan & lower down the car cause too soft (?) & below average road grip

not much info on ne3 except for it's older technology :C
so for you, you will choose ne3> cc6?

Ive used xm2 as well.. over three of this I would go for ne3 as it provides best comfort and grip levels.. xm2 is very good at first but it gets hard after awhile and grip reduces quite dramatically and noise as well.. quite big diff.. although it does have a long thread life..
Oh ya xm2 is most exp of these three..

cc6 is indeed very quiet and comfort tyres.quiter than xm2 but wear faster like u said.grip is not too bad.
i dont think ne3 have better grip.the tyre quite hard and treadwear if not mistaken is 500,just my thought.

Better just keep your original rim coz it won't worth much at the shop, they'd probably just give below rm100 for 4 pcs. You can just try sell them yourself.

Yup then either try to sell on your own or just keep them until you want to sell off your car and put them back on and sell your upgraded rims separately or reuse for the replacement car.

Hey guys, what's the best affordable choice for 205/50/R16?

Prefer longevity & wet grip. Not too worried about tyre noise.

Surely must change already! If the tires still pretty new/only used for 3 months then you can just buy 1 replacement to save cost.
