QUOTE(vincentxiang @ Nov 13 2013, 09:02 PM) I just get titanium card 1 month ago and noobie to their online acc, wanna to check on the OCBC online account user interface. I notice there is 2 messages unread on the right top box but i cant find in where i can open the 2 unread message, does anybody here know it? The interface is a little silly. Click on the envelope icon inside the "Secured Message Box" at your upper right hand corner of your Homepage once you keyed in the TAC upon successful login. |

When we all are whining about this, LYN forum ads banner is advertising on OCBC Al-Amin CC. How irony it is!

If petrol is not considered as retail spending, it should be stated clearly. Otherwise, it'll create confusion and disputes from cardholders.

QUOTE(hkboey @ Nov 16 2013, 04:00 PM) As I am a new OCBC TMC user, I would be looking at how I can utilise the 1% rebate and must not think bout the 5% at all. Glad that you have accepted the new feature and formulate your own stategy to maximize the benefits out of it.For me, I think I will use this card solely for insurance both auto debit plus manual. 1% rebate is still better than other card 1x point, 2x point, or 0.4% rebate. Plus if the 10k spending to get GST rebate is to stay on then it would be bonus. |

Anything that is annual fee, GST, BT, cash advance, penalty, bank imposed fees/charges such as financial charges/interest should NOT be considered as retail spending or swipe.
As for installment plan on the spot or converted installment plan (after swipe) is gray area depends on bank T&C. This post has been edited by David83: Nov 17 2013, 01:18 PM |

QUOTE(angietoh9988 @ Nov 22 2013, 05:10 PM) OCBC Ti of 5% rebate coming to an end, all converted to the 1% rebate. Alot of people intend to cut off it. There're pros and cons for the new 1% on OCBC Ti. It's better if you weigh your spending properly in order to maximize whatever rebate/benefit. In fact I am looking for alternative OCBC Ti's cash rebate card ... is considering HLB Wise, Maybank Amex dual card, UOB one card ... My finding&Comparision : HLB Wise: I pretty dun like that we MUST 10swipes minimum RM50 per month for T & C (do not spend more money because want to get rebate) Maybank Amex: can only be used on weekends, there is 5%, but many places do not accept amex cards. UOB one card: petrol good, 5%, and other category most 2%, other 0.2%, utilities bill is not entitled to 2% Sound like only OCBC Ti. Card can use in all category... aiya! better keep the card lo. Obviously, OCBC Ti is still better for dining if compared to Citibank CB Platinum and UOB ONE. |

QUOTE(ay@m @ Nov 23 2013, 04:14 PM) hi all, After 29th November 2013, there's not annual fee with any condition.i tried to find the info but cannot find easily...i wanna know if i stop using this card...what is the minimum # of swipe and amount i should use yearly to make sure i don't get charged for annual membership or some other fee? is there a requirement? i recall previously something like 12 swipes or probably something like that...but i can't remember... i plan to keep this card and maintain for minimum use once they change to 1%.... The one that is still on is RM 50 GST from government. This one used to be FOC if you could reach RM 10k p.a. but not sure if it'll be retained after 29th November 2013. Let's wait for more confirmed details upon revision of the benefits. |

QUOTE(Jason @ Nov 23 2013, 11:19 PM) Not necessarily. If AMEX is accepted, Maybank 2 AMEX is better because it is 1.9% cashback with the cash vouchers, versus 1% with the OCBC Ti. Everybody knows that my dear. You also stately clearly in your statement that if and only if AMEX is accepted. Many of us have both cards with us. |
