Hi guys, I need a new IPAD fast but it's really too much to read here at this moment and I owned up to being lazy and so many other things to read on. Shall catch up on this thread later.

At the mean time....Advice pls or past references link, ok ka?

I am thinking along the Airs or Retina 3G for me? price different not a deal maker- it is just that I was equally happy with my iPad 2. Any pros and cons?
Lighter being more durable with protection casing? I've butter fingers, I have personally killed three LCD screen of my iPad,iPhone.... cry.gif

Thank you for the reply!! wave.gif

If budget is your main concern, retina is way to go, but iOS 7 can sometimes make it laggy. So does playing games.

If not, get the Air. Get an Otterbox casing too.

It's normal actually.

do you mean is normal in every Ipad Air or in every generation of Ipad? Cause my brother having Ipad3 will last longer at 1% but mine is at 2%. So this is not a faulty battery indicator to have it last longer at 2% instead of 1%?

Not so expensive if you count the following:

1. PowerBank 5200mAh cost around RM50 to RM100
(I am sure most people has at less a PowerBank)

2. External USB 2.5" HDD Storage 500GB around RM180
(I am sure most people also has at less a unit)

3. Wireless-N Repeater with DLNA cost around RM80 to RM200

Total Standalone of the above 3 items cost you around RM310 to RM480

Now, all those 3 items combined into 1 unit Multi-Functions with only the size of a external HDD which only cost you around RM450 for a 500GB unit wink.gif

Not counted it save you the weight of those 3 items to carry around and also if you're iphone/ipad users it save you the time to convert video format or copy & erase your video/picture/music files when you reach your low storage warning. whistling.gif

It work as a connected network environment using DLNA discovery thru WiFi.

Discovered Network on Mobile WiFi HDD/SDD "Z-DriveAir" on your smartphone or tablet app:

All the files are well organized by categories & folders:

Select the file you want to play "support almost all format":

The Linking of the Mobile WiFi HDD/SDD "Z-DriveAir" with your smartphone which means you have 500GB or above extra space to carry around anywhere & anyplace you go thumbup.gif

Also it's a PowerBank too to charge your smartphone icon_rolleyes.gif

transfer/download VLC movies to/from via WiFi. VLC is not a device. VLC is a video standard that using a supported Apps to play.
There is nothing special about VLC. It's just a file format that must be run by supported Apps. yawn.gif

Errr wait ... VLC is not a video standard or file format but an application that can play a variety of file format without installing any codec. Unless it's not the same VLC as http://www.videolan.org/

does anyone know specific information about upcoming Apple's A8 chip? and whether or not, the iPad Air 2 will have 2gb RAM? i think 1GB RAM is not enough.
