I do get crash and auto reboot a few times. To say iPad Air with iOS 7 is with perfect is not true. However the reboot is less than 10 secs so it's ok.

I think that is too much to pay for a case. I would rather use that money for a larger capacity iPad.

I did try out the Apple Smart Case in Apple Store HK. They have all the different colors for customer to try out. The back case is very solid and offers all around protection for the iPad and it's thick enough. Not sure about the covers that comes with it though.

Is the iPad mini washout color really that bad. Most review I read says the screen is very good but the Air is slightly better.

Sometimes I few the issue get overblown by users. It's like some reviewers claim the color to be a little less vibrant that the Air but then people start interpret it as very wash out etc!

Never buy 16gb iPad. You will run out of storage in no time.

Isn't it great there is stock everywhere? Why can't it be Apple productions is sufficient to meet demand? I don't think apple will be releasing any higher resolution screen fot the 10" iPad anytime in the near future or it might never at all. The very reason Apple will not come out with a higher resolution screen is because the current screen is already retina(almost). There is no significant advantages to go higher than 300 dpi as our eyes cannot see the difference. On the other hand, higher res screen requires more graphics & processing power which consumes more power! Then apps have to be optimise to fit the higher res screen which is a big problem itself.

If you are waiting for a higher resolution iPad Air…we'll then good luck!

This is the case I bought from Shenzhen china while I was there last month. Surprising good case. The front cover material is very good. Dirt or ink can easily wipe off. The interior is micro fibre so it do gets dirty after a while.

The back is clear plastic so you get to show off the Apple logo. It is strong enough to protect the iPad from day to day use but not sure how we'll it will protect the iPad from drop.

The case is also very light and very thin. Offers multiple angle stand.








Front is protected by 0.2mm tempered glass SP. Can't remember the brand. The Glass SP is rounded at the edge so it feels really nice after installation....no hard shard corners. Also comes with a nice home button and after install, it makes the home button look like Touch ID and flat with the SP. Very nice.

Initially after instal I remover the protective layer and the SP feels very sticky and not smooth. Maybe no nano coating? But then I apply liquid nano coating over it and now very smooth.


Nice Home button the make it flush with SP.

You can always use a voice recorder to record the whole lecture. There is also lots of note taking apps like Evernote you can use.

iPad Air is probably the best tablet out there right now. Undisputed champ if you read every single tech magazine. Whether it lags while playing games or running apps depends on the game and the apps itself. I notice lag when playing Asphault 8 but very smooth while playing Real Racing 3. You should not worry too much about it as the Air as good as it gets for tablet experience now.

Don't buy 16gb iPad Air. I rather to hold up and save more to buy the 32gb. Really 16gb is too too small.

It's not all doom actually their is external storage solution to stream movies and music and also transfer file to and from the iPad now. Check out Lacie Fuel and Seagate Wireless Plus HDD solution for tablets.

Try plugging in your iPad into iTunes. In iTunes click on your iPad and under the App tab scroll down to the file sharing section. Click on PPS app and you should be able to see the movies on the windows on the right side. Movies I transfer to my iPad VLC Player can be transfer out from there by just right clicking and use copy or paste command.

I bought a Glass SP from taobao....not Glass M. So far I am very satisfy with my glass sp. Very good. No problem so far.
Only cost RM60.
I bought a cheapalang glass sp for my iPhone 5 too that cost RM10 only and so far it's working great.

Glass-M Seems like giving user many problems.

I bought some other brand 0.2mm glass sp from Taobao from RM60 and it seems to be very good. The edge is curve nicely so when I stick it on the iPad Air, it really looks like there is no glass sp installed. The edge also feel very smooth. I had it install since dec last year and so far no chipping at all. Very satisfy except that it's a fingerprint magnet but regular cleaning would do.

Why spend so much for a SP. I bought one 0.2mm tempered glass sp from Taobao for RM60 and works like a charm.

iOS 7 is having a crash bug which is causing Apple device running ios7 to crash into the white apple logo screen. . Apple knew about it and is fixing it in ios 7.1 coming out most likely next month.
