Get it if u r upgrading from ipad1 or ipad2 or ipad mini. Or better wait until it is released here and u get to play with it.

there is no telling that. until now ipad2 is still supported. fret not though, recently apple has allowed download of older versions of apps if u cant upgrade ur os. you are gonna miss out some new features but if u can use the apps it is ok.

thanks for the head up. Need to hold horses in view of this. Or hopefully by the time Malaysia got the Ipad Air here, the issue has been ironed out in the latest batch. First batch of gadgets always has higher QC risk, especially if they are rushing it out.

^+1. seems like its a wide issue but iinm most apple 1st batch product do have this yellow tint issue. being a 2nd wave country aint a bad thing at all.

Reporting in after using the ipad air sg set for almost a week now..its worth it after a long wait to buy an apple product..this is my first apple product and im glad to say that the quality is very good.no screen issues, although I would recommend all future buyers to check the screen immediately after purchase..this is because even in 2nd batch problems might still occur (eg the iphone 5 problems are solved obly on the 3rd batch)..

The ipad air is not a big upgrade over the ipad 4 but its a good upgrade over ipad 1, 2,3 and for those who do not own an ipad before this..lastly, the eta for the ipad air according to machines and switch (friends of mine) and also from a shop in sibgapore is early jan or end of december.

will be having a trip to Hong Kong end of this month. If chance upon a 128GB LTE Ipad Air there, might just grab one home. The >>HKD7,288<< (converted to about RM3,000) is not bad at all comparing to Singapore pricing. At the moment it takes 5-10 days lead time for order.

Btw, Apple Ipad has international warranty, right? Notwithstanding whereever i bought the device, as long as I can provide Apple shop original receipt for verification, warranty service should not be a problem locally, correct?

Haha this is a very easy upgrade for me as any app is basically crashing when i m using it on my ipad. watch youtube on google chrome and is bound to crash, flipping graphics intensive pages on flipboard and it is bound to crash, no longer support the newest games.

Hahaha..seriously bro, the ipad air is definitely lighter than the ipad 4, but once you hold it side by side and compare, the difference is barely noticeable and is just feels slightly light only..furthermore we all will of course get a case which adds the weight, in my case, the original apple smart cover weighs about 5 ounces..added to that weight of the ipad air, the difference is barely noticeable

i am sure you have held the iPad 3/4 to watch a movie/episode on your bed. how long before you put it down or lean against somewhere. the air is so much lighter. so slightly lighter is an understatement... its like having a touch screen pc. how long will you use the touch screen continuously before resorting to a touch pad or mouse.
