Well, since Sejarah is a wajib-lulus for the first time,
Technically the format of SPM did change. Eventhough it is minor.
and I think this is the first year where even transparent pencil boxes are not allowed in the dewan.
Or is it just my school? LOL
*
we're lucky that we are not calon for 2012

last year each of them got a huge transparent pencil box with a SMILING NAJIB FACE on it

dat face tongue.gif

yes. Even my brother's SPM 2006 paper was all black...

Even if the grey mark indicates that the paper has been replaced,

it doesn't seem possible that all 4 papers, BM 1 & 2, BI 1 & 2 were all changed.....
*
i think its possible

they sure got backup for all the papers

Definitely, but replacing all the papers is really fishy. If one to two means okay la...

And last year's sejarah paper was the backup one, yet it still had a black mark and not grey....

Well, it works. I did almost 3000 objective questions since mid-year and I'm getting 39/40s too. It gets boring real fat though, the questions keep repeating mad.gif Plus, SPM questions are easier than workbook questions
*
ya, i always got 20+/40 while doing workbook questions but i always got 30+ while doing past year papers tongue.gif

I want to study because I'm interested in studying , not because I want to study something that will guarantee me of a job upon graduation .

It's named 'tertiary education' after all .

I don't equate tertiary education with career .  smile.gif
*
it's very noble of you (i think)

for me studying only means get a good job in the future. still have bills to pay meh :/

So when you study , it's not about the passion , but the mindset that one day it'll all boil down to a good job ?  sad.gif

Have you considered becoming an entrepreneur ?
*
yet, u are the only one i've seen that studies because you 'love studying' instead of 'getting job for the future'

actually i am thinking of studying acturial science

there is only one worry for me, sound silly, very silly

that is

i am afraid of, if i did study acturial science, i will be learning with a bunch of nerds blush.gif

not being sarcastic here, but i feel like i need more sociable friends, cuz this year i putus hubungan with 2 of my best friends. they decided not to talk to me anymore. and one of my best friends, is going to perak to study next year, and i am afraid that our relationship with not be that close when me meet again

I'm sure you already know but actuarial science is one of the most challenging things out there. I personally know so many top students who took actuarial science and flunked out. Unless you have the passion and the drive or are a super genius, actuarial science is something you REALLY need to commit to.

But I'm sure you already know all this so sorry for being naggy.

Yeah, actuarial science will probably have more academically-inclined people, but on a more encouraging side, all my friends interested in actuarial science are sociable people. Don't worry too much imho, maybe you'll be so stressed you don't even have time to talk  tongue.gif
*
i know acturial.s is going to be hard, but one of my cousins who only got 5A in SPM can succeeded in a. science and he is going to graduate from university in us next year. this gave me the confidence
