Sometimes it's also about budget. Note2 is fine for all uses except for maybe some very new games.

Gawd hating touchwiz has no real bearing on the matter at hand. Since some people are so pro the pure google experience ffs flash in aosp or cm to the note 2. As for lag since that's the topic du jour, 500ms won't kill you is it even 365days x 100 times of 500ms lag or what you perceive to be lag...

Note 2 has one of the largest active community of modders as well so again i say....flash whatever you want if you don't want 90% of the stock stuff.
