Note 3. The differences is huge, unless you had money issue, then Note II.

If you just a normal user, never bother on how great the screen looks like, I not said Note II screen really bad, but it ain't that good as Note 3. Note 3 screen is far nicer in color reproduction and sharpness. Note 3 is one of the accuracy screen in market when you set Movie mode, well review by a lot professional site like DisplayMate and Anandtech.

Or never bother on how fast it is, and never play much games.

Then Note II is enough for you, as I believe most features of Note 3 will appear for Note II also in coming updates.

But I still encourage you go for Note 3 if money is not an issue and if you seldom change phone, then Note 3 is far better and more future proof than Note II. At least I won't think they is any issue on any apps in Note 3 for at least coming 2 years cycle.

You use Note II or 3, or any phone, not take care, any thief will look for it.

Where got people think this issue when pick the best.

I don't find Note II is lag, it is pretty smooth even long use. My sister and colleague is using it, I always play their phone, the phone is pretty smooth.

Only 3 phones from Samsung I will ever recommended.

• Note 3 - if money is not your concern.
• Note 2 - if you got money constraint issue and want S-Pen.
• Galaxy Mega 6.3 - if you got money constraint issue and want much bigger screen.

** Sorry I got no recommendation for normal phone (5" or below) from Samsung yet until date.

My SD card mainly is for backup purposes, album songs and some HD movie.

Songs itself already 5.24GB as I only put flac or 320kbps AAC/MP3.

Oh, I not put at Internal Storage, Internal Storage is for apps + misc whatever need to store at Internal Storage, you know now so many crazy 1GB ++ games/apps. I find 32GB is just enough for me but not the 16GB phone.

My current Note 3 only left
- 12GB out of 32GB Internal Storage.
- 21GB out of 64GB microSD card.

HTC One is nothing to proud or wow, I think their defective units is more than perfect unit.

It is not truly beauty also, the front 2 different colors look ugly to me for white version, the black one look nice but too finger magnet, also that back curve - all this issue hold me back on buying it last time.

As usual, different people different taste.

Previous Samsung phone not so nice is due to too shinning back plastic, but this is no longer issue in Note 3.

A lot phones use polycarbonate, include Nokia Lumia, Sony Phone (last year), HTC (last year) - It ain't look cheap.

Also I personally find Samsung Touchwiz is nice looking be 3rd.

1st - Sony UI
2nd - Pure Android (New KitKat UI gonna be 1st to me)
3rd - Samsung TouchWiz
4th - HTC Sense 5/5.5 (all previous sense none I like)

Sorry I don't feel that for Note 3. I even more happy now holding it than my previous superb solid premium feel phone - Sony Xperia Z or Z Ultra, both phone only look and feel premium when it is new, once it get dirt, and it is easier to get dirt and finger print, then it really feel disgusting where I need unstop wiping it.

Sony this year design got 2 really bad design, 1st is they is a deep inside line surrounding the entire phone screen, after a while, maybe a month, all dusk will suck inside and difficult to clean out. This part make the premium look of the phone completely gone. 2nd is as I mention above, finger print magnet, using both side as glass is a bad decision, it only look nice when it is clean and new.

Nokia Lumia phone most feel solid, except the latest Lumia 1020, especially that yellow lime color, the finish look cheap on that.

S4 is kind of failure from Samsung, when start selling that time, it anytime hang/restart itself when you touch the camera.

The entire phone feel lagging, the 2GB RAM is not enough for everything Samsung put inside. Don't said on trim down the bloatware, not everyone do that, and 1st impression on S4 is bad for most people.
