Gegege...manage to flash 4.3 custom ROM for my S4 without changing the SELinux from permissive to enforcing..hence no Knox even after flashing CWM and use it.

QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 21 2013, 08:47 PM) Some of you may have missed it, but this thread was actually a pretty good discussion until some idiots came in spewing hate all over the place.... Actually that thread need to be close much earlier or at least redirect to the pinned Android phone recommendation thread once it clearly start to become a discussion thread.https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3002051 Ignore those few posts about laggy devices or "look silly with such a large thing" And sooner or later it bound to become heated when joined by haters. Luck our chief Baronic take action promptly. Anybody got a warning meter..? ...lolz. This post has been edited by waveweaver: Oct 21 2013, 09:00 PM |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Oct 21 2013, 09:30 PM) Well , S4 doesn't come with Knox . I guess it's easier 2 bypass Knox for S4 unlike Note 3 since it comes with Knox . Anyway , a rooted stock rom is good enough after some bloatwares removal and I'm surprise how much bloatwares there is in Note 3 . S4 comes with Knox but not active as the SELinux permissive. Those the unlucky ones doing OTA for the latest 4.2.2 firmware DMH1 got their status change to enforcing...lolz |

QUOTE(putera_imranz @ Oct 21 2013, 10:05 PM) Nope..once you received OTA or Lies..it comes with the new boot loader that included Knox. And you cannot downgrade from Knox bootloader to the older non-Knox bootloader. There gonna be problem such as no WiFi or no network connection and sometimes Odin flashing will just failed when flashing. |

Regards on Jason bring HTC to Tribunal and win give hope to those who have tripped their Knox flag in case of warranty void.
We should test Samsung at Tribunal oso if they reject our warranty claim This post has been edited by waveweaver: Oct 23 2013, 10:11 PM |

QUOTE(Reventon @ Oct 23 2013, 11:46 PM) Bolehland will ask you Apa tu root? Power root ka? Like Jason case..he already sent his phone to repair/replace the camera module. It came back with the same defect situation. And HTC even ADMIT that their camera module on HO is defected in the first place...right out from the box.Anyway TTPM cases usually wins when you pinpoint the problem accurately which is not so complicated to the president OR the HTC representative doesnt attend then you win automatically. Surely he get 99% chances of winning the case. |

QUOTE(skumaran24 @ Oct 24 2013, 11:13 PM) Ok guys some update on my issue. I saw on maxis forum https://forum.maxis.com.my/forum_topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11269 a similar issue. The user tried to set the network to maxis only rather then auto. Currently my data connection is stable for now. If you find 3 sec is toooo slow..don't use the S View Question to S-View original cover users: 1. How long does it take for your device to awakes when you open the cover after closing it for about 15 sec. Mine is taking like 3 sec which I feel kinda slow. QUOTE(joytest @ Oct 24 2013, 11:13 PM) Haha..if Note3 cannot be update without triggering the stupid Knox than this Note3 is really my last Samsung product. Will change to Nexus then...lolz |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 24 2013, 11:20 PM) I know, haha! Just criticize on it where new device should be first get update. I don't mind Knox is there in our phone. I do understand that some coperate user need a secured phone for their BIG company.Actually I am hoping Samsung remove continuer development on Knox! I just feel disappointed if Samsung push Knox into our casual user throat. It feel like some sort of punishment because we tinker the phone |
