I'm suprise . U r not new in LYN yet u dont search for great deals in garage sales . Occasionally , u can get as low as 1950 for sealed units from forumers who got it as a "gift" or even those who signed plan but don't want the phone . Even traders with real shops r selling it here below rrp in LYN

Well , is there any difference flashing DMJ6/SMJ7 ? Nobody knows . Samsung never give changelog . Then again , MOST of the time , there's no difference as it's regional updates . Having newer firmware doesn't mean got new changes , just some codes for other countries .

Yup . New MJ6 firmware got changes again . Custom kernel no longer supported in MJ6 , camera force close . And it seems restorecon folder is missing so for those using tibu , restore will give error again like before .

Nope . I root on the 1st day I got the phone during launch . Used the " normal " method for any device with CWM without lock bootloader . Just flash SuperSU 1.65 zip in and u r rooted . If it works , u r rooted , if it don't , it don't . Much easier and hassle free since CF Root wasnt out then and even for newer roms , it will take a while 2 release .

From xda site , it's 0.48 mm total . That was the reply 1 of the forumers got from Brando .

1. Brando claims that their raw glass thickness is 0.26mm, with an overall thickness of 0.48mm (straight from Brando rep).
2. Spigen claims their Glas.t Slim thickness is 0.26mm and their Glas.tr Slim thickness is 0.4mm (they don't quote any raw glass thickness vs. overall thickness, so I don't know which one they're actually referring to).

If we assume Spigen is quoting raw glass thickness and not overall thickness, then your observation that the Glas.tr Slim (0.4mm) is thicker than the Brando (0.26mm) seems right. That would make the Glas.T Slim (0.26mm) comparable to the Brando...

If Spigen were quoting overall thickness, then you should have seen the Brando (0.48mm) being thicker than the Glas.tr (0.4mm), which you didn't.

I'm inclined to say most manufacturers are actually quoting raw glass thickness and not overall thickness (where Brando quotes both)...

If u have the budget , why not . It's always good 2 have multi platform as there r things which works on android that doesnt work on IOS and vice versa . But then again , ipad mini is not really a good option , 5.7" vs 7.9" is not much difference . I rather get a ipad . But IMHO , if u r the type that hardly use a tablet , get a Padfone Infinity . It's for those who wants a phone and a tablet but uses the tablet occasionally . Also , u dont need 2 data plan . Best of both world

Iphone dont lag ? IF u just use it for calls , sms , fb , whatsapp , sure it dont lag . Try doing something more and c it lags or not . It goes down to how u use it and what u have installed inside . And ip5 and even ip5s got the worst battery life , maybe due to the LTE . It's worst then ip4s and before . I dont see myself finding a charging dock every few hours .

Nexus 5 is pure android and so is Padfone Infinity with a little of Asus app inside . However , its slightly older Android currently until a newer update . I'm asking u to get not only the phone but the phone + docking station all together . Local unit is out selling for RM2.5k or least for 32G . However , its running on S600 proc . The revised version with S800 is not out locally yet .
But then again if u like the S pen , nothing beats the Note series .
