i asked ALL IT and they said the local retail price is close to RM1k, however i bought mine from australia since the PC350 is not sold in our market yet for RM800 sweat.gif

wow, sounds soooooooooo nice! and its a senn!!! how i wish u could compare it with the steel 5hv2. i'm soooooo in dilema.  sweat.gif

will the mic of 350 by any chance be annoying for being too big?
and does it comes with soundcard?
how's the performances of it?
how much!!!!!!
yep i too wanna know.  wub.gif

i wanted to get a 5hv2 as well awhile ago before i found out about the PC350.

but the design of the 5h v2 is just incomparable to the PC350. the PC350 has better audio quality compared to the 5hv2. the PC350's mic has a noise cancellation feature which the 5hv2 doesnt have.

the oversized mic however, doesn't comprimise my comfort at all. imo, it's easier to just flip up my mic when i'm not using it unlike the razer i have to unplug it or turn it sideways and the 5hv2 i have to push it back inside the tiny hole which to me is a nuisance.

if the PC350 came with a USB sound card, i wouldn't have bought it or i will just throw away the USB sound card and just use the headphones. any USB sound card for that matter.

It's very good, airy, very comfy albeit a little fragile. I have a Mylar, iGrado and PX100, and I enjoy PX the most.

imo, there aren't many competitive games that requires 5.1 channel or even quadraphonic. i've used a quadraphonic on the razer hp-1 and it makes the voice volume very low for an unknown reason.

if your just a casual that likes eye candy more than gameplay, then a usb sound card is for you smile.gif

i disagree.

when we go lan party and/or competition, most of the rigs uses integrated sound chipset, which is not on par with a dedicated sound card. i'm using it for cs, and a 7.1 and a 5.1 can help me differentiate between many footsteps and 3 person's footsteps, and the ACTUAL location of it. to me a soundcard is very important, as i'm also using it on my notebook, which does not have a soundcard unlike my rig.

no matter how good your headset is, if the soundcard is not on par for gaming, the quality of the sound will always not be able to compare with those that comes with a good sound card adapter. sound cards are not for eye candy, but for portable quality sounds.

i'm not experienced enough to point out crucial points regarding the surround sound. nowadays, most audio chipsets are already good compared to older chipsets. i've played with many competitive cs players, even with team hybrid and to my observation, a 5.1 or even 7.1 surround was never their concern. i'll try to have one of my friend reply to you since he's more experiened in cs than me. he previously played for des-gaming.

to me, a sound card adapter is only useful when you're mobile and maybe up for competition, where you can't bring your own expensive sound card or is too troublesome to bring a big external one.

but if you're up for music/songs, i don't think a sound card adapter is useful. and when you're watching hi-def movies on your pc, its best to use an external solution rather than a sound card adapter.

but then again, the 7.1 sound card adapter is quite useful at times, though you really need some getting used to.

New PX-200 user reporting in biggrin.gif I got it in Changi airport yesterday.

Very satisfied with the sound signature though I felt the bass is not punchy enough. Probably it is not burnt in yet tongue.gif

Got my HD650 couple of weeks of ago. Maybe will start a serious appreciation thread on this babe in the near future!

After listening for thus long, i'm impressed by the level of details that i could produce. Upgraded from HD595.

Hi everyone, Im a new member of the forums so forgive me if I sound like a nub.
So basically I need advice on speakers, headphones and PC audio in general.... right now I own a set of Altec Lansing 4121 (2 years edi I think) and im using an on board sound card to power it, Realtek HD if Im not mistaken. So right now i feel that I want to upgrade my entire sound system in general, and btw I use my PC mostly for games, music, movies... So recently I got interested in seenheiser headphones and planning to buy a HD555 to be used on my PC. So doing some research about the headphones on the web I learned that in order to get good performance out of the HD555 you need to have a good sound card, on board just doesnt cut it. So now, Im facing the dilemma of either purchasing a sound card first, or a the HD555 first. So being the nub I am, I want you guys to clarify a few things for me.. how much diference would it make between a "real" soundcard and an onboard realtek one? And maybe can someone tell me how much diference in sound quality is there between the HD555 and my Vs4121 speakers. Thanks in advance~ hope you guys can reply fast.
