What's the problem with Amex if the vendor accept with no extra charges?

Just go with Amex.. i always use amex first.. more points

but amex have higher forex rate (2.5%)

btw, now i only notice this beach queen, looks good, but hobbysearch already closed this PO. Other than amiami, where can i order her?

Another Tony girl...Not sure about the veil (looks awful plasticky), hoping the final product will look better...That said,I absolutely adore how she looks without the veil...

Oh yeah this is what I'm waiting for. That veil is indeed not good looking, just throw it away if it is plastic looking.

Tried to place order in AMIAMI using amex, but it mention card failed to use, order cancelled'

but my card kena charge 3000 yen twice.

called maybank, they said it is floating but is successful transaction, depend on merchant to collect the fund.

Emailed to AMIAMI about this matter, but i have no order number can be traced (coz it failed, no failed order found!)
luckily order number is not a mandatory field

Since the beach queen is a not yet release item, is it the 3000 yen is charge for validate card? (coz it cost 3960 yen, not 3000 yen)

any Sifu faced this before?


** this is 2nd time kena something like this when want to use amex for online payment, really bad experience

I am not sure about any additonal fee...

But when i travel my amex vs master card. Amex give me a better ex rate.

Moreover.. if i were to use Amex on Paypal... my ex rate is better. Whereas Master ex rate already pre-determined by paypal which is very high.

When the time waiting amiami reply for the double 3000 yen charges. I place the order again, this time with select paypal as payment method.

I expected they require to input paypal account information, but it just go through without any paypal info, the order is done.

In this case, what happen if i not paying during invoice? Amiami will cancelled it automatically?
From what i know amiami is not allow cancel order by user, so this method could be used if you want to cancel order?

May i know how to change the conversion rate to my bank rate?

one of mine (from NY) went thru customs without any prob yday, and shld be arriving on Monday
however, the other one (from Amiami) still with customs since yday morning.... T_T if it got stuck, must be due to Amiami's stupid excessive shipping cost and extra large box....

I agree with amiami using oversized boxes which results in jacked up shipping costs.

Even if they wanted to "protect" the package with the "scrap paper padding" shouldn't take up half the box space.

What happened to bubble wrap?
