thanks...now I get it...and I bet no one is stupid enough to hold 2 or more cards from the same bank with sharing CL if their income is below 36K. as if you earn 2.9k X 2 =5.8k on one card with 50 GST. second card still same 5.8k but pay 100 GST. no cards have all the benefits as I am having problem choosing another card for petrol other than UOB.

though the 5% is good but their online banking using smartphone is so limited not to mention foreign bank=no instant online transfer. actually HLB wise was my first choice. but thanks to their "verification" procedure, I cancelled my application half way thru as they wan clarification from my HR dept just for applying a credit card. at the same time, my salary credited into HLB and I have just get my car loan from HLB too(wanted to cancel application half way too but was told it has been approved) due to their service. the car loan was in January this year. so any suggestions for another good petrol cash back card besides UOB and HLB? rclxub.gif
*
Yup, the Credit Limit Shared Equally Between 2 Cards from the SAME Bank's Issuer nod.gif
But..
1 Card = RM50 GST
10 CCs = RM500 GST

Is there any other cards that can provide unlimited cash back beside OCBC bank?
*
Hong Leong Essential (Annual Fee Waiver subject to 12x Swipes a Year)
*1% Unlimited CashBack (Cash-Back is Subject to Min. Retail Spend of Rm100/Month + NO Rebate given on Petrol)
*Low Cash Advance Fee of 2% (Others CC- 5%), Which's Good on Emergency Cash Urgently Needed icon_idea.gif
*Low Cash Advance Interest Rate at 10.8% p.a (Others- 18% p.a), as I think So far is the Lowest Rate Among All the Banks in Malaysia

I miss SCB, I got 600 free from them last year. laugh.gif

So far, I'm no longer a new user for SCB, UOB and HSBC.

I'm holding MBB2cards, OCBC Ti, AEON Gold MasterCard and SCB Plat which I'll terminate soon. Already canceled UOB cards and HSBC Amanah Plat.

Thank you for your recommendation. Is there any difference between card centre at 1 Utama and KLCC? Does 1 Utama process faster? By the way, I just went to maybank KLCC branch and the lady at the CC application counter said i'm not elligible saying you need basic pay 2.5k above and they dont count gross pay. Is this true or the lady just dont want layan and look down on my pay? sad.gif Can i request for the application to be process first?

Any experienced maybank CC holder with 1.5k basic can verify this? smile.gif
*
2) Working with a basic of RM1.5k; working for 6 months so far; EPF deduction base on basic pay.

Basically, You Must Need a EPF's Contribution at Least RM220 = RM2000 (Monthly Salary) baru can Apply Credit Card All the Banks Will Check On Your EPF 1st, If less than RM220 on Your's Monthly Contribution, 100% Kena Reject... sweat.gif

They will Reject you due the Reason of:
i) Income not qualified to fulfill minimum income requirements = RM2,000 p.m (Compulsory)
ii) Your haven't been working long enough, You X have the Stability on Your Job, yet (just 6 months came out for Work)

I see. Fair enough. But how is it that my colleagues under the same basic pay (probably lesser gross pay since he dont do much OT as I have) get approval for CC. If im not mistaken, he got himself a CIMB CC. However, I prefer to apply under the same bank being use for my savings and crediting salary.
*
As the Minimum income requirements for Maybank CC is Rm2.5k, while you have to wait for Salary Increment to help You to get the Card... blink.gif
Why not, Try Your Luck on Other Bank CC as their requirement are more Lenient compare to Maybank:

CIMB Cash Rebate MasterCard (Free 4 Life)
*5% Cash Rebate on e-Commerce spend
*10% unlimited Cash Rebate on retail interest charged
*2% Cash Rebate on Groceries and Petrol
*2% Cash Rebate on Mobile & Utility Bill Payments (via Standing Instruction)
*0.2% unlimited Cash Rebate on other retail spend
