With the OCBC Titanium now offering only 1% rebate, I'm planning to cancel it.
Question is:
1) which card should I replace it with? (will use for F&B and shopping)

The reason being i went with OCBC Titanium = had 5% rebates (though not everywhere) but still 5% was pretty darn good..now 1% flat - defeat the purpose of me getting it.

Added:
Would you say that Allianz Bank's You:nique card is similar to OCBC's Titanium?
*
Alliance You:Nique's Rebate is credited monthly into the card account & Calculated on Tiers based as below:

Monthly Spending Range (RM) : Rebate Factor
i) 0-1000 with Cash Rebate 0.50%
ii) 1,001-2,000 With Cash Rebate 1.50%
iii) 2,001-3,000 with Cash Rebate 3.00%
iv) >3,000 with Cash Rebate 0.30%

fellas, im still new to credit cards thing as i have never applied before.
but wat i want to ask is this section in particular. What do you mean by Complimentary Travel & Accident Insurance??

does that mean if i go oversea for travel my insurance is covered over there and don't have to purchase oversea accident insurance?? icon_question.gif
*
The Coverage of Complimentary Travel & Accident Insurance for the Cardholder shall operate only When You Charge Your Travel Fares to the Card. Therefore, Cardholder will get Complimentary Accidental Death and Disablement coverage, as well as Travel Inconvenience coverage for missed connections, luggage delay and luggage loss...

Try UOB One Card or RHB Travel Money I think UOB It Should No Problem (EZ) to get It if Compare with MBB 2Cards
& FYI Nowadays, The Bank Will Refer to Your EPF 1st for CC Application... nod.gif
If Your EPF's Contribution are More than $220 = Your Salary $2000/Month It Should be NO Problem to Get Your 1st CC nod.gif

You can Check the Status thru Maybank2U Online Banking Service if You got Online Account with Them

No Income Proof, No Credit Card

FYI, Even You Used FD Pledging for Credit Card, the Bank also Need Your Income Proof Documentation Such as a Simple Salary Slip- the Proof of You got a Firm, Steady, Stable Job with an Ability to Handle / Repay a Credit Obligation in Time or Maybe for Long Term... nod.gif

Yup, You can get a Supplementary Card from Your Parents (they have to Supp. a Card under Their Account , Same like, an Add-on card). It is a privilege offered to the spouse, parents or children of the Primary credit card holder (If Your Parents are Principal Credit Card Holder) with All Expenses incurred on an add-on card are billed to the Primary Cardholder.

Not Sure with Your Situation, here... hmm.gif
Basically, You Must Need a EPF's Contribution at Least RM220 = RM2000 (Monthly Salary) baru can Apply Credit Card All the Banks Will Check On Your EPF 1st, If less than RM220 on Your's Monthly Contribution, 100% Kena Reject... doh.gif
Better Providing them with the Salary Slips from Both Company, If You Can... rolleyes.gif
Long before, One of My Friend kena Reject with Reason of No Socso's Contribution, Funny isn't It... rclxub.gif

Hi all,

I was informed that my application for Citibank PremierMiles VISA Signature was rejected today. mad.gif

I am very aware of the requirement of minimum annual income of RM60K for PremierMiles VISA Signature. If based on my 2013 (monthly salary <RM5K), my annual income (including bonus) is still more than RM60K.

My current salary (2014) is >RM5K
Car loan paid off in 2011.
Another bank - Home flexi loan RM600K+ approved in June 2014
Another bank - Platinum card holder since Oct 2014 (credit card statement always cleared in full before due date)

I submitted the following documents:-

( a ) Dec 2013 - March 2014 salary slips
( b ) Increment letter January 2014
( c ) EPF statements printed out from Citibank's EPF Kiosk

The sales person told me that he/she does not know the reason why my application is being rejected but he/she will appeal for me. I asked, if you don't know the reason, on what basis do you appeal? doh.gif

I even dropped by Bank Negara Malaysia to check on my CCRIS and conduct a CTOS self check report today. No issue at all. thumbup.gif

Anyone can shed some light on my situation? How can I find out the real reason? icon_question.gif
Many thanks. sweat.gif

Home Loan Approved in June 2014...??? rclxub.gif
Another bank - Home flexi loan RM600K+ approved in June 2013 the Reason Why Citibank have Reject Your CC Application: Too High Commitment on Housing Loan Usually, Bank will Reject Ppl with Loan > RM200K... sweat.gif

<Getting a credit card is good, so that you can create a CCRIS record in the BNM system. Not Sure with Newspaper Subscription...
But 100% Confirm with Reader's Digest They only Need Your Cardmember Name, Card no. (visa/ Mastercard) Card Expiry Date Fill-in the (Payment Advice Slip) to Process the Subscription (Order).
If U Choose Pay by Installment they auto-deduct from Your Credit/ Debit Card Account monthly, so far No Problem on Me, Nothing Bad Happened yet
