hi now i'm looking at ocbc mastercard for the 1% cash rebate as a backup card.

but it seems, the normal ocbc world mastercard and titanium mastercard all give 1% rebate, the only different i see from the website is normal mastercard dont have 24 concierge?

and also their GE linked mastercard where also give 1% cash rebate but auto-IPP for GE premium and give 0.1% cash rebate on this.

so the above, with per annum of RM60k and above, which one is the best card to apply?
*
Correction OCBC World MasterCard (Income Requirement RM100K p.a)
*1.2% rebate on all retail spend NOT 1%... sweat.gif
*2X free access per calendar year to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge
*Travel Accident Insurance
http://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/Cards/index.html
Neither 1 No Different... nod.gif
If your Income can Support U just Get the Titanium Version maybe will get Higher CL just go for Titanium...lah ALL with 1% Unlimited Cashback Except 1.2% on World MasterCard... rolleyes.gif

edited tongue.gif

so no difference only the P.A requirement.
so weird one, why they wanna do that?
*
cos Different Income Requirement will get Different Credit Limit

ie, like Income RM3000/ month =RM36K a Year will get Credit Limit 5-6K (2x Salary), Low Income = Low Credit Limit
if Income $8000/month = RM96K Annually maybe can have Credit Limit > $20K, High Earning = High CL for Your Card
"Low Income will have Low CL & High Income Earner will get High CL"

& of Course It Depends on the Bank Evaluation... nod.gif

I really love RHB Bank, I have their Platinum Visa and use it mainly for FREE access to LCCT previously and 0% Balance Transfer Plans

Today, the RHB officer who process my previous BT application called me and asked if I still wanted to do any BT as their promo ending soon. Really good timing as spend too much in Paris buying buying handbags for wifey. So with me doing another Balance Transfer with RHB, it's like I get to pay 6 months 0% Installment Plan for my wife's bags and earn a couple hundred Ringgit by having my fund sitting in FD biggrin.gif

Actually, Not Claim Back but Sometimes the Bank are given Promo on RM50 GST Credit Back to NEW Signup Customer on their 1st Year Only... nod.gif of cos Banks themselves have Korek Own Pocket to pay the GST to Government (On Behalf of You)

Citibank Shell card
*
Citibank-Shell Card,
U Have to Spend at Least RM$2500 a Month (Must Included $1700 on Others Spend + $800 on Shell Fuel) baru can Get 8% on Shell Fuel Rebate & You Only Can get 8% Rebate from the $800 Shell Fuel Spends Not All Based on Your Total Spending $2500... sweat.gif

the Cash Rebate is On Tiers Based Like ie,
If the Cardmember's Monthly Total Spend falls under Tier 3, the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend earned by the Principal Cardmember will be 8.0% of the Monthly Total Spend on Shell Fuel subject to the Maximum Shell Fuel Spend to Earn Rebates of RM800 only.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jun 11 2014, 02:41 AM)
HSBC is really bull shitting me! What 24 hours telebanking is HSBC talking about? I am pissed off big time. Not only that, I did not even get to speak to a real human being. I mean, it is common that most banks have human being late at night or early in the morning to attend to stolen/lost credit cards and nothing else; but, at least I get to speak to another fellow human being where they will advise me to call back.

Well, I am going to call back HSBC tomorrow and cancel my HSBC Visa Signature once and for all even if they had waived my annual fee. This is because I felt that there was no personal service whatsoever from HSBC. Plus their new system requiring us to key this and that really waste my resources, i.e. my mobile phone charges me every 30 seconds I'm on the line calling HSBC's new 1300 number.

So next year, you guys won't be seeing a HSBC credit card in my Malaysia credit card collection. And I won't miss it at all since I seldom use it.

*
Currently now, HSBC 24 hours Telebanking only Available on Report Lost Card Service... sweat.gif

Btw, Thanks for the Compliment... Sifu blush.gif

Over here in LYN , we forumer constantly rate Maybank 2 Cards as the 'must have' card . It is virtually top of our list. How could HSBC cards overtake it in the rating? I don't understand  rclxub.gif
*
hmm.gif I think they're Ranking maybe because of This: Earn 8X Reward Points at Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Mall and 5X Reward Points on every spend at other participating malls nationwide. For anything outside the shopping malls, you still enjoy 1X Reward Points for every RM1 spent.

But, The 5/8X Reward Points are only awarded to HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card, HSBC Visa Reward Credit Card and and Gold MasterCard Credit Card up to a maximum spend amount of RM3,000 per participating month cumulatively in participating shopping malls
& Also HSBC CC now are Annual Fee Waiver subject to 12X Swipes p.a
