That will depend on what you intend to light up, if its an LCD monitor like that, you could go with the ones found in LED shops, these connect via the wall socket and a transformer....
another option is to get the 12V type that connects to a normal 4-pin molex of a PSU... these are normally used inside a PC chassis.. few brands carry this one... Bitfenix, Silverstone, NZXT are a few brands that you can find in the market

Or specific store? I don't think the ones that connect to the PSU are the right or proper ones.

Viva Mall has a few that specialize in these IINM Harvey Norman or Sen Heng may have them as well, not too sure about the price though as this actually falls in the realm of home entertainment already

I don't see cables connecting them to each other. Looking for a brand like this or similar.

if you look at it carefully, these LED strips are similar to those of the PC version
the ends of the LED strips has a 3-pin connector that will have to be connected to the ribbon wires you see from the 1st picture, these LED strips could also (possibly) be chained together to get a longer strip

I don't see cables connecting them to each other. Looking for a brand like this or similar. Probably they havent connect the wires yet. Its a simple led mod, basically you just cut led strips & wire it to a DC power source. You can get cheap china rgb leds at car modification shop & diy. You connect the strips to a controller box (not sure what its called) & you can then control the rgb settings or an even cheaper option is to get a fixed colour led strips. Those you cant change the colour but its dirt cheap. Only problem with led strips is you need a transformer or some sort of converter to convert that AC power to 12V DC if you plan to diy, else maybe they got sell a complete set where all you need to do is plug & play. For computer modders this is a common mod, we just cut the led & connect it to our power supply which already convert that AC current to 12V DC & it cost us less than RM10. I have ton of leds in my rig & its easy, cheap yet gives awesome results
