That will depend on what you intend to light up, if its an LCD monitor like that, you could go with the ones found in LED shops, these connect via the wall socket and a transformer....

another option is to get the 12V type that connects to a normal 4-pin molex of a PSU... these are normally used inside a PC chassis.. few brands carry this one... Bitfenix, Silverstone, NZXT are a few brands that you can find in the market

Yeah, looking to decorate the wall or behind the monitor or table, something like that. Any brands for that? Or specific store? I don't think the ones that connect to the PSU are the right or proper ones.

if thats the case, then you should visit those lighting shops that caters for LEDs.. Viva Mall has a few that specialize in these IINM Harvey Norman or Sen Heng may have them as well, not too sure about the price though as this actually falls in the realm of home entertainment already

if you look at it carefully, these LED strips are similar to those of the PC version

the ends of the LED strips has a 3-pin connector that will have to be connected to the ribbon wires you see from the 1st picture, these LED strips could also (possibly) be chained together to get a longer strip
