Ya My Dec sales just so-so. Wait for next Xmas sale maybe gets better.

Honestly, the Nintendo's eshop sale last Holiday season was way better. Bought lots of stuff. PSN only bought a few games on the cheap.

QUOTE(tohff7 @ Jan 7 2019, 05:24 PM)
On the contrary, you are quite wrong. 2018 has been a very good year for PS4

A lot of AAA titles this year alone - God of War, Spiderman, Red Dead Redemption 2

Now it's more of a pause before the next AAA arrives by end January - Kingdom Heart 3
*
Didnt quite dig GOW or Spider Man...both play a bit....at least GOW bought cheap during sales...Spiderman bought physical disc....somehow can't dig into it.

And oh, you forgot Dragon Quest 11. This is PS4 GOTY for me. RDR2 didn't buy yet as too many games backlog and also on the Switch bought a lot of games...mainly playing Switch now during last holiday season until now.....now wait for a few months, then buy used RDR2 when it's cheap. lol.

Say, anyone have use HDMI switches before? I bought one from Lazada...but it seems to only work for PCs and all i can get from the PS4 is audio and no video...i have tried to change settings like forcing 1080p, set RGB range to "Limit"etc.....still no go.

Any advise anyone?? Thks.

make sure the HDMI switch supports at least HDMI 1.3, can check your HDMI cables length & version also, my previous old phat PS4 refused to connect if the cable length is too long
IINM, most of the cheap unpowered HDMI switch won't support any 4k devices

It suppose to support 4k30Hz and it is also powered (by my Samsung phone charger...lol). It won't do nothing if not powered at all. My PS4 slim only 1080p and my TV and monitor also 1080p only. So i don't think it's an issue with HDMI version. Even HDMI 1.2 support 1080p right? Same goes for my Nintendo switch, only got audio, but no video. I have already tested with many HDMI cables, including using all my own cables (which tested confirm can display on the TV when connected directly from PS4). sad.gif

overcooked works well for everyone at party time, even you don't have 4 DS4 can still share play with 4 players with split controller mode.
if fun tps shooter can get alienation/dead nation also 4 ppl support local.
if want to play some dance game can get Just Dance, up 6 players no need DS4 as only use smartphone as controller which almost everyone own nowadays. biggrin.gif
