Wow, original MSPD is getting pretty cheap huh. Even fake ones are around RM160+. Seems like i need to get an ori one soon..LOL...

QUOTE(wilsonjay @ Nov 10 2007, 04:24 PM)
can any1 recommend me a shop in lowyat where i can buy a cheap psp slim+4gb MSPD+UMD disc(demo also can)?
*
Well, with Custom Firmware pre-installed, dont think you need a Demo UMD anymore nowadays..So, you could save some money there..

QUOTE(vkeat @ Nov 10 2007, 06:33 PM)
can we mode the slim psp ourselves? i plan to buy one but dunno to get the fat one or slim.. any recommed?
*
Yes you can. Its more or less (or maybe even same) as how to install the Custom Firmware.

About which to get, with the Slim better, cheaper and newer than the Fat, cant find any reason on why you should get the fat. Definitely go with the slim..

Dear all sifus,

I'm planning to buy a 2-year old used PSP from my colleague for RM200. He is running firmware version 1.0 i think.

Is it upgradeable to the latest customized firmware? I have not tried the battery yet but he said he hardly used it. So far that is the 2 things that I'm worried, the firmware & battery life after 2 years.

Need all the sifus advice here.

Thanks.

1.0 can be upgraded to 1.5 then later installed with a CFW. About the battery don't worry about it since you can get a 3rd party version if it fails.

i'm going to get my first PSP..so i did some browsing on the forum looking for good bargain...so i bump with 2 deals at the moments that interest me...

first one..

psp lite & slim set with 3.71 m33-2 firmware
ac adapter & battery
4gb memory stick with adapter (fully games, mp3, movie, software)
2 in 1 usb cable
screen protector (hori)
pouch & strap
2 dvds (up to 20 games)

RM850

second one..

PSP1006 Black Color with 3.10OE firmware
2nd hand (1++ years)
Charger
Batt
Black Pouch & Strap
Screen Protector Applied
Earphone with Remote
USB Cable
NO MSPD...

RM 600

so wanna know which one is the better deal...since if i take the 2nd one..i need to topup another RM 240 for the MSPD..so the price going to be around the first one...

opinion from y'all are highly appriciated ...

In early November, PSP Slim bundled with 4GB memory stick is selling around RM 800 - RM 820, so I guess maybe they'll go back to that price range.
