I want to buy psp at Sg wang, but i wonder if they sell fake accesories, i mean do those stuff have problems and spoil easily?
My friend said that the psp there might have opened and modified before.

Btw if i bought a psp in Sony Style shop can the psp firmware be changed to play ahem games?

Can someone specify the places to get the SGD285 psp slim in singapore? a list would be welcome. i plan to get in in november so that it has incubation period for that 'software enhancement' plus any problems associated with new hardware. Getting it in singapore for RM657.247 would be the cheapest as it has the nearest price to the original jap price of 19800Y or RM613.021 instead of malaysia with the exorbitant pricetag.

so does anyone being conned or think being conned by Sg Wang dealer before ??

slim not yet available but the strange thing is HK already started selling the slim & lite psp while japan release on Sept 20?

my favourite shop in Kotaraya s&m arcade (opposite petaling street mcdonald. got 2 entrance next to each other 1 go up and 1 go down to mamak stall in the building) 3rd floor sells psp slim with cfw 3.60 m33 for rm660. rm80 for 2gb memory stick and rm150 for 4gb normal speed memory stick. no accessories yet for psp slim. current accessories for psp fat does not work with psp slim like earphone. hard case very loose. tv out cables not yet release. so now just can get the console package with memory stick to play games. no fancy stuff yet. the shop is near the pc game shop.go straight after the rack of pc games, turn right after see a game shop opposite movie shop that is next to escalator. the shop is sandwiched between the gameshop opposite movie shop and a shop selling anime related stuff. the tv always show naruto jap fighting game.

slim price is for basic package (psp+batt+charger) while fat price is complete set with strap earphone blablabla...

isn't it the core pack, sce offering the core pack together with the memory stick (choices of 2gb or 4gb).

i dun recall sony got offer any value pack which comes with 2 gb or 4 gb

the current slim psp sold is i dunno from where but it could be from HK or singapore(possibly)

To clarify things, i found PSP Slim for RM660 with firmware 3.60 M33 at kotaraya S&M arcade. i've been checking posts in this forum and most prices quoted are very expensive compared to what i can get. 4gb fake is just RM150. at the same shop, PSP fat with usb cable,hard case, pouch, earphone, screen protector and 2gb fake is just RM790. all those exorbitant prices at those so called 'high class' places such as cineleisure just pisses me off.

yes. PSP-2000 is the new PSP Slim & Lite. IINM, the 6 refers to the country it belongs to. Slim one is cheaper currently due to the fact that it still doesn't come with many accessories such as headset + remote control, hard casing etc. the old ones comes with strap, pouch, hard casing, headset + remote control etc.

then, go flame them lar for selling expensive stuffs.
why blame it here.

you are comfortable getting things cheap.
some people willing to pay more for guarantees.
they're reputational shops. so getting things done is not much
of a worry for them.
