IDSI = very good fc, economical, a bit underpowered

Vtec = normal fc, more powerful than the idsi

I own a 2005 3rd gen vtec city...touchwood, no problem insofar 8years...quiet car during engine in operation....idsl will out of breath abit when >4k but vtec one will come power there n quite playful but pls dont expect to run with the big boys of hilly run ...i tried catching up at 165kmph to view 2 marque BMW & Merz racing 180-200 race I couldnt catch up...on flat road then >180 ok (ya im quite a reckless person)

Parts no problem n available widely
parts from honda sc will be expensive i.r.t this segment car, the price will slaughter you....you have to source out from outside half the price.

full tank about 420km. It's the more powerful car if not the most, for this segment car...better than spec sheet. I have 2 friends, ladies, who respectively own a Rx8 and Soarer and eventually a R35, either had this car or said ,this car quite powerful when sit in mine...for an entry level car.

very responsive when engage the 7 speed mode and ,shift to sport mode to keep on 'high' rpms for high speed runs....combine both when launching, very effective. Sometime i even redline this small car in stock form shakehead.gif
Car is a keeper but since mine is in stock form, no mods....body roll is existence. I believe (& heard owners of d current gen city) not as quick as the 2005 model.

after 5th year, it feels abit underpower, u can use the 7 speed manual if u wan accelerate faster, more FC~

when i started driving, it can go 160km/h w/o a problem
but now still able to go 140km/h w/o a problem (i dont dare to go above anymore)

VTEC has:
* 7 speed mode
* black interior
* 4 wheel disc brakes
* exhaust tip finishing
* leather wrapped steering wheel
* Optitron-type instrument panel
* stiffer suspension

more than likely to happen on models prior to 2005.
as long as use CVTF oil on the gearbox, then should be no problem/concern of this happening. but doesnt hurt to check on vibration/jerking during standstill...shfiting btw gears

the vtec one is just a normal 16v 1.5L engine when "vtec" kick in.
if havent kick, it run on 12v 1.5L.
using vtec one now. fc about 400km per full tank of 40~45L but i do admit i always rev high with this car coz it feels underpowered
