I personally want to test whether DItto with hidden ability can inherit hidden ability to other pokemon with no hidden ability.

In safari, the ditto will have better Ivs. Which mean the base stats are higher. So these Dittos can be breed to pass down the IVs so that other Pokemons will have the best IVs. Battle wise, it's great

If you have people with the starters in their safari. It might be faster to catch one with a hidden ability than to breed.

Yes. Its quite a card if you have. I would not say its an ace but still, people would most likely trade with you

For grass, try Pokemons with chlorophyl ability. Like liligant or venusaur

Ah Didn't see that. Well for physical yes Leafeon, Tangrowth and Sawsbuck. All of them are chlorophyl users.. But yeah you would need a Pokemon with sunny day or draught to use them properly
