the trick is swipe 1000 for retail transactions and 500 for non retail transactions to activate 50 cb

but i saw my friend pay ptptn with her cc, no cb for the retail transactions for swiping 1000+ amount. i'd assume ptptn is non retail transactions.

You may call CS to confirm whether PTPTN payment is under retail or non retail transactions. From what i have seen from my friend, she is telling me she didn't get any cb for 1000+ she swiped.

So better you call for CS and update us here

you can read the T&C for the free RM50 activation CB & Free FOC 2 luggages bag worth 1198 if i remember correctly if ur worldmiles master card get approved

for lower cashback gold card i think will get free 1 luggage bag +50 cb too

and yeah, you will get called from their telesales price solution their company name

Yes , it's approved if you receive the SMS above mentioned. You can call CS to double confirm.
