5. 31/10/13 - MBB 2 AMEX now has MSOS SafeKey, do call customer service to register if your online transaction is being rejected

i do groupon purchase yesterday and i got MSOS, sms of TAC is sent to my mobile

but in the end the transaction is 'fail' and description is 'Bank approved the transaction'.

does it mean i still need to call maybank for register MSOS again? (even i got MSOS sms for online transaction)
is this problem related to this?

and another problem, my statement date fall on 3rd of a month, which is 7 working days included today. if the refund is not received by that date, rm69 + 69 will be in my statement balanced. i will still need to pay for it together with whole statement balance to avoid financial charges? even thought it is a false transaction ? 

May I know do I entitle for 5% discount + 5x treat points by paying utilities bills (TM, TNB, SYABAS, DIGI, etc) using maybank online banking and AMEX?

the 5x treat point is it applicable to all transaction except gov, insurance and education?

Why you want to use this you have MBB2 AMEX and AMEX is accepted at Caltex?

Then use other banks CC

My Amex also just says "Maybank", but visa it is "Maybankard"... hmm

Does anyone know if I can redeem treats points for RM50 service tax more than once, in a calendar year?

I redeemed it last month, so was thinking of doing the same this month. Because the way I see it, Maybank just debit RM50 to the card account. Doesn't matter if the service tax is due or not.

This is possible to redeem twice in a year, BUT is same GST you have redeemed if you redeemed two times in a year.

I have asked from the staff that there will be a reference number to be redeem the GST from your TP even though you have redeem two times, it is just for the current one, but not the incoming.

I think this is impossible for you to redeem the point and used for deduct your monthly bills. Again, as mentioned above, each of the item come with the ref number to be redeem.

For the second redemption, you unable to redeem it for next year of GST (June 2013) due to Ref number has not out yet which is early than your calendar year (June 2013), if redeem on April 2013, it is still the same year of GST (2012)

Therefore, you are only can redeem this GST (June 2013) once it is charge into your statement and Ref number is out which is June 2013 onward. 

Not sure if you are referring to Citibank. I can confirm that I think last 2 years you can multiple redeem the gst. I fully redeemed with my points for I think RM50x 12 times. All within same calendar month, to use up all my points.

Sent an email to cardservices but no reply so far. Call them but they don't process appeal letter for rejected application. i just give up for this card then

i just applied in 1 U, just bring your IC will do. btw, the sales person said EVERYTHING 5% ON WEEKEND.. i asked him on dining, online bill payment, clothes shopping, etc. he said EVERYTHING.. swt

why need to swt?It is as long as the merchant accept AMEX and of course capped at RM50/month.

Your statement made not "hold water". Plenty of places listed on Post #1 to cover all areas.
