Maybank told me to put rm10k in fixed deposit in order to approve my mbb2card application...why dont they take a normal process to approve the card?

Same for me - I'm not Malaysian so maybe that makes it more difficult.

No proof of income other than payments into my account which aren't regular - so place FD against the CL. Not such a big deal as it's good to save and if you spend too much at least you won't end up in debt

A week ago, I applied in Klang for the CC.

The lady told me that I have to self-collect the CC at Maybank branches.

So I told her that I'm from JB and she remarked it for collection at the Maybank nearest to my home.

Few days ago, I had received SMS telling me my card has been approved and it appeared in my M2U already.

The question now is... Is the card ready for collection, or I have to wait for another message/call telling me that it is ready for collection?

mbb included your jan 14 usage as well in the total usage for 2013?

After much consideration, I think I'll open myself a Maybank account just to apply for the 2-Plat. I hope they won't make it too difficult for me.
