not sure about T&C #2 on how Agoda verify you are U Mobile customers. Probably you need to enter the UCard or verify your NRIC.

yeah, few weeks back, the "Statements" section was under maintenance. probably they were fixing/enhancing it.

tmr night will go movie with friends at 1U, thought can skip the IC replace part blush.gif

because now hardly take out time for card replacement tongue.gif
*
apply mykad replacement, online smile.gif

RM10 pay via credit card (amex not supported by payment gateway though sweat.gif ).

https://mykadganti.jpn.gov.my/login.php

1 login registration ties to 1 unique email addres. so if u want to replace for mom and dad, use their email to create login account. or create new gmail for ur parents biggrin.gif (which you can access later for account verification)

you can choose your collection location (JPN office) at the online mykad replacement portal above.

the only "manual" process is to collect the card personally (need your thumbprint to authenticate your identity vs mykad info)

just curious, is the double-posting issue last weekend only specific to certain merchant/location?

so far cristiano7mu screenshot is Aeon-Bandar Sunway.

others?

should suggest to maybank to put 5% on weekends and also public holidays.

I would prefer Fri-Mon (4 days across weekend).

This would encourage spending on Fridays and Mondays too smile.gif

guys since most of us just use amex card, I want to check after receiving them along with visa/mastercard, did u just terminate the visa/mastercard ?
*
well, 2 scenarios:

1) if you have other visa/mc (e.g. ocbc titanium) with better rebates/points than m2card's 2X TP , then keep it in your drawer. termination-wise, not sure if that's allowed since the gst charged to m2card's visa/mc, not the amex.

2) if you dont have any other creditcards, only m2cards, then use it, just in case amex not accepted and you have visa/mc to backup.

i'm #2, i keep m2card exclusively. been hunting for 2nd bank with better visa/mc cashback, so far none fits my usage of sub-1k per month. i can choose ocbc titanium's 1% CB, but the gst/AF will make me lose even more than the CB benefits i might gain in long run. sweat.gif

wow i just got fraud transaction on my amex.

i want to check my transaction but at maybank2u but already not authorised.
can i still see my statement online when i get a new card ?
*
yes, you still can see the cancelled-card statement in m2u. If i'm not mistaken, it will be removed after 3 months, once all outstanding is cleared.

shocking.gif u mean we need to clear those amount ppl fraud with our AMex?
*
yup, as victor mentioned above, after fraud dispute already cleared, you still need to clear the outstanding before the card can be fully terminated/removed.

when i terminated my standalone Amex (before m2card was announced), the amex account still lingers in my m2u. mbb cs told me it be automatically removed later.

just a question smile.gif

on monthly basis, i get the weekend amex rebate of about RM25 (average). that means my amex usage is about RM500.

coming in few months, i will be renewing my car insurance, about RM2K (est gross, no NCD).

any suggestion how to maximize my cashback?

i was thinking 2 options:

Combo 1) get OCBC Ti and pay the 1-time insurance premium (1% unlimited CB, gives me ~RM20). No change to my usual Amex payment (est cashback about RM25, still have ~RM25 quota balance). Total cashback for that month: ~RM45 + 2500 TP (5X TP)

Combo 2) pay the 1-time insurance premium with amex (capped at RM50, 2X TP), the rest of my RM500 bills/usage pay with other cards (still finding). asssuming i get OCBC Ti, 1% CB from RM500 is about RM5. Total cashback for that month: ~RM55 + 4000 TP (2X TP)

Amex-only) pay all with Amex. RM2000 + RM500 = RM50 (capped) + 12500 TP (5x2500)

getting petrol-only 5% CB cards like UOB One or Citibank, doesnt make sense to me, since i have other payments like Unifi/Tesco, which i've been enjoying 5% CB with amex along with petrol.

hmmm, seems OCBC Ti is more logical as a backup card in order to maximize Amex's 5% CB (RM50 cap).

suggestions/recommendations? Combo 1 or Combo 2 or just Amex-only is better? biggrin.gif

correction:
if you pay all with amex, you will only get rm50 + 6500 tp (2000x2 + 500x5)

conclusion:
combo 1: rm45 + 2500tp
combo 2: rm55 + 4000tp
amex-only: rm50 + 6500tp

since combo 2 doesn't really benefits you a lot as compared to amex-only, you don't have to purposely sign up ocbc tmc for this purpose. i would suggest you to maintain with just mbb2cards for now.

Just wondering , can we make a weekend payment from M2U from AMEX to UNIFI to enjoy the 5%?Has anyone tried this before?
*
absolutely YES thumbup.gif been doing this for months.

5% cashback (RM7.45 for RM149 vip5) > than unifi's fixed RM2 autopay rebate.

not entirely sure if it's limited by the merchant.

'bout groupon, read somewhere in this topic it's possible. do a search for "groupon" keyword within this topic.

contract or permanent position? previous payslips?

if fresh grad, better get ready your appointment letter. it stated your "official" salary, so it's a good supporting document too.

previous payslip was from oversea company

it is a perm position and somewhat outsourced company for some banks including MBB if that's make any difference
*
does the pay goes to the same mbb account too? then they can correlate past payslips vs bank-ins.

just get ready the previous payslips, in case mbb asked for it. good luck!

Want to ask, do the mbb2 visa card support Visa payWave function?
*
nope.

it's a traditional visa contact card (chip-based, need to slot into terminal).
