I can confirm that it is indeed possible to increase your credit limit by 'overpaying' your credit card account. Been there done that. As a matter of fact, there was a time i used up my credit limit but not aware of it. Tried to buy something online but my card kept getting declined. Called Maybank hotline and was told my card will be good to use again if i deposit RMxxx into the account and i need not to clear the statement balance right away. Due date was about two weeks away, so i did not want to clear it so soon too
