yes i know that, last time during 4.4 i used GEL and nova beta, the homescreen gets transparent statusbar and navigation bar but not the lockscreen, now in 4.4.1 the lockscreen gets transparent statusbar and navigation bar WITHOUT GEL or any other 3rd party launcher, i noticed that once i updated to 4.4.1

anyone how why did my phone notification light is not working ? whatsap , line , charging and so .even though i installed light flow, still the same problem . but led light is functioning (tested with light flow)

Have a problem recently with my n4, it can't take screenshot. Whenever I want to screenshot I need to reboot my phone and then it will works. It happen few times already.

My power button can on off the screen, but can't take screenshot without reboot. And it is hard to turn off the phone too, is it the famous" power button die " problem?

mine was transparent for both. using AOSP and nova. not sure if its a nova feature tho

i thought immersive is done by PA? the only place i saw it was on their G+ page. i doubt its going in aosp soon.

Have you tried to restore the phone? Don't think it is hardware issue tho.

4.4.1 brings any improvement to N4? Only N5 benefitted the improvement on camera right?

What's new Android 4.4.1

Most benefits for Nexus 5 cause mainly it for fixing camera and audio bugs for Nexus 5. It comes with new kernel, hopefully will improve battery life.

I am using the nexus 5 port rom ... now iam 4.4.1 .. seems like everything work fine including the "OK Google", transparent bar etc

You using which kernel with CM 11

Cataclysm + Franco r198 usb otg patch = Awesome battery life

Upgraded to 4.4.1 and now running self compiled kernel Testing new lower VDD for 1.2 ghz since it is now the default clock speed when you touch the screen.

MXPlayer won't work in 4.4.1 because they haven't whitelist this version yet. But no reason for me to use it anymore, the "Photo" is now a very capable video player.



ps: 1.2ghz only in Nexus 5... in my testing, our still on 1ghz... reverting back to old freq
