Hmmm i see ... then i should try other ROMs then ... looking for neat stable ROMs with good kernels for good battery life and less heat.

I want performance too but i guess if you want good battery life and less heat, stability is all i can ask for

i have compared our lovely Nexus 4 with other flag ships with metal casing and trust me ... you would not have ask for Nexus 4 to have steel bumpers ... it will make our device look cheap ... LOL ... the S4 and HTC One owners was like ... hei why S4 and HTC one dont have such nice bumpers to look premium !

To begin with, we should be charging our phone before it reaches less than 15% or more ... because anything lesser than that will damage our battery. So i wont say it is entirely the car charger's fault. Might be and also might not be or could be both, for example when your battery reaches 0% , it has already done some damage to your phone and the car charger might not be a good one, hence further damaging and phone and tada ... right light of death ...

I am using car charger so far and also bought myself a power bank just to make sure

Well, there is never a perfect solution there, and there are other issues to solve as well if the do not allow the power button to turn off even at the lock screen. So yes he can turn it off, but he will eventually turn it back on and that time, you might , just might be able to trace it.

Erm the overflow app which controls your notification light also controls the sound, so that might help.

Yup , that is what i was thinking as well. All smart phones have battery life issue. It all depends on how you wanna use it.

hmmm wierd ... but i am kinda bored with PA ... and it has problems with the Facebook Chat head =.= ... Thinking of flashing PACman rom but some one is reporting it is not very stable with problems ... and i have having a hard time thinking how should i backup my stuff so i can recover them back without much trouble while i play around with custom roms and kernels hahaha ...

only concern is about folders ... i dont really care about game data ... hahaha ... contacts and some other stuff are sync with google account so i am not so worried. Not normal ... either phone hardware problem , apps on the phone that is causing this, cable of the adapter (if it is a separate item) or the adapter issue.

One way to eliminate if phone or adopter+/cable issue is to use another 1A charger to charge your nexus 4 and see whats the result.

I used to use 0.3A to charge my nexus 4 and it takes me about 5 hours to 6 to fully charge it ...

I have compared it with a lot of flag ship and ours is very bad when it comes to low light environment but unless our phone comes with HTC One ultra pix camera of Nokia's 40+ Megapixal camera, we wont be able to get the so call good camera phone hahaha ...


Fastest way is copy paste the folder of your picture and songs in your phone to your computer. Usually stored in Picture , DCIM , Music, or other folders that have pictures/music in it. You can also look for notification, ringtone folders if you have anything stored there.

I am using that. It will be much more user friendly compared to the previous one they have suggested. (At least to me hahaha

Not really , depends what you need for a phone. If you need your phone to be smooth and stable, then for Nexus 4. Only con about Nexus is the Camera and Battery.

But if you are using S3, it will be laggy and crash from time to time. I am using Nexus 4 and my gf is using S3 and she keeps on complaining why hang, why crash why this why that lol ... now change to S4 de then better ... hahaha
