Hi guys, I notice my Accord 2018 2.0 has minor vibration coming from my gas pedal mostly when accelerating from low speed (1500-2000rpm).
Mostly happen when the car is going uphill, any idea why is this happening?

if i remembered correctly, the 9th generation Accord is a drive by wire chassis which means your pedals will not be getting any feedback from the mechanical parts of the car.

you sure it isn't just the undulations of the road surfaces?

Abs modulator. But can repair outside for rm1.3-1.5k. Suggest take 2.4. Mine also 2.4 but i felt it not too much power these days. Cz rest manufacturers c/w 2.0T give more additive power at highway
*
222nm torque is the culprit..174hp enough, but pulling power is lacking. at least need 300nm like passat.

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Oct 21 2020, 02:42 PM)
Not justify paying almost 190k. People will have a look for conti then

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Oct 21 2020, 04:08 PM)
people who has a budget of RM240k will not even consider a Honda. they wouldn't suddenly decide to pay a difference of RM50k because the Accord is priced at RM190k but if you mean "rather" in the context of /k speak then yes but in reality, no.

Accord sales is very poor. Chitchat with honda sa, now with sst rebate, price is not far from previous gen accord 2.4, but last time even facelifted accord 2.4 sells like hot cakes.

people not buy due to price. but can the price justify the purchase?. not really.

Now, I still doubt what so special about d segment. topup a bit can get c class, topup a bit can get 320i. Btw, living in KV, I see a lot of newer facelifted c200 and recently launched 320i than accord. I believe conti steal this customer from buying accord.

Where are the all of previous gen accord owner goes after sell their accord?. buy another accord?. buy conti c class, 3 series?. u can know already rights where they goes.lol. upgrade lor.

Last time D segment selling points is spacious and comfort. And u will be suprise see how good C segment is nowadays. Try sit in X70 or CRV and u will feel both, tick spacious and comfort offered by new accord.

Then why need to pay extra thousand for new accord. Kek. D segment is dying. Current gen, Teana already retire in the market. Next gen, I believe no more accord, camry, mazda 6.

the 3series and the C-class compete within the D-segment.

Malaysians are just brand snobs, they would swoon over a Saga if Merc/BMW made it. the fact that people bought a 3-pot BMW over a 4-pot Honda speaks for itself.

price aside, the 10th generation Accord is a reasonably sized comfortable sedan. it's not that Honda raised their price, it's Merc/BMW that lowers theirs.

Accord owners will keep their Accord and buy a SUV.

I will buy a saga if it equipped with 300NM of torque, ZF 8 speed transmission, way more refine NVH. Century Sprint 7.1 second. Can rape both Accord at 9 second and Camry 10.5 second century sprint.

So, its not brand snobs, the performance just way better. Where can I buy this saga from Bmw/Merc..

Here in malaysia due to car price range, most buy car depending on the price 1st than segment.

Btw agree D segment is losing out now. Not just our market, but also in the US. Thanks to the suv. Even C-segment car had massive size compared says 10 years ago

Yesterday one owner of 2019 hrv posted in hrv car club fb, he is waiting for warranty parts of his cvt replacement. And to be start with, most onwer of hrv and city also face same issue especially after certain mileage.

Now new accord at that price is using cvt, good luck. Somemore tuned up the engine power a bit for our market just to justify the price?

Just bought ckd x70 3 months ago and keep retain the old 2015 2.4 accord as well. NVH of x70 is miles better than accord, especially outside noise, tyre and wind noice at 130kmh.

And the roof sound of x70 doesn't sound like a thin metal of my accord during heavy rain

Last time got ivy league and uitm come iv at my place..Uitm candidate try so hard said best student, talk cock sing song. ivy league no less too.but in the end still ivy league>uitm. no offense ya towards uitm.

same goes to car brand. Accord is the best from Honda, but its still cannot beat 3 series from Bmw or C class from Mercedes due to the brand is of higher value.

Someone graduates with 3 points from ivy league and other parties graduates with Dean list from Uitm. In the end people will see that ivy league is superior.

World works that way.

Nope im quite sure its not from the road, it feels like the engine is forcing itself to give more power while conserving the FC. If i push down the throttle more then the engine will feels smooth again, and vibration from gas pedal will stop.

plenty of pros for its price and only a few cons to which you need to consider actually; NVH levels, ABS modulator and the DRLs. Other than that, a fairly solid reliable family car.
