Long time ago ask the sc, cost few hundred, iinm rm400, by disc. Even sa said better take waze as the update maps even not the latest, lack years of maps. To be fair, which manufacturers give gps maps the latest, even in Merz not the latest maps

Definitely waze/google maps is the better option. However, I travel outstation alot and I like to have maps turned on all the time. If use phone, it affects the battery health if turned on over long period of time.

There were a few occasions where map was not updated e.g. LPT2, Kuantan city roads...

If cost is RM400 to update map, then tak payah la. I was just wonder if there's a free way that we could update ourselves.

I am a happy ex-owner of 2015 9th Gen Honda Accord. After the 5th year unlimited mileage warranty ended, I did the maintenance my self for little small one. For the bigger maintenance, which need specific tools, I send to outside workshop. These are the list of items I buy online, and change for myself during the ownership. I let go the car not for the reliability, it is the best car in best condition, it is just that my family expanded and I need 7 seater above to accomodate my bigger family. On the 6th year of owner ship, I change the Brake Rotor to TRW XPS Slotted brake rotor (https://shope.ee/7f5DZPMG6C) and pair it with Lemburg 550°C brake pads(https://shope.ee/6KZpz6ElK4). The infamous foot brake rubber (https://shope.ee/qEtR2ct7Y) deteriorate is changed. Wear and tear such as cabin filter (https://shope.ee/3psV0QM2MD) also change myself, if get from spare parts it starts with RM20 price tags but i bought online for half the price and a variety of type carbon, blue, green can be chosen. The engine air filter (https://s.lazada.com.my/s.gjQow) also I source it online, it is 1/8th the price of which from workshop, they quote me RM140 for it. I have tried different windscreen wipers, and I can conclude that the original Mitsuba Wiper arms are the best at wiping the rain. To get the original rubbers from spare parts stockist like Hingan Auto, it cost RM55 for a pair, I tested with the OEM rubber fill (https://shope.ee/504SOblRqc) bought from online, the durability is the same, once a year it starts harden and squeeking. The petrol fill cap rubber string gave up on me long time already, it hurting my eyes to let it sit there, so I change the whole petrol cap (https://s.lazada.com.my/s.gjQKm) source online. For dome cabin light, I changed it to LED, as it brighter (https://s.lazada.com.my/s.gj9MJ) and it is pure white, without the blue light hue. For rear plate lights, I change it to LED, I have tried multiple LED type from the cheapest i can find, but I found this one is the most durable with pure white lights (https://s.lazada.com.my/s.gj9G3) it is also the same to the map light at the driver, the rear passanger side lights and also door puddle lights, the reverse light also I changed it to brighter white LED (https://shope.ee/2pzxqNcCaO) so that I can see better at what behind me when I am reversing at night time. I always like the headlight to be LED, but I am afraid it to cause danger to the front cars, so I opt for 4300k LED headlights (https://s.lazada.com.my/s.gj9H2) there are 2 type needed for high beam and low beams, 9005 and H11.

Hope this sharing help you guys save a bit on the car ownership and ease you guys through this hard time.

What modifications can be done to increase power for the 2.0? I just did an ECU remap. Gained 17hp

I'm thinking of installing a turbo. Had anyone done this before?

my 9 years old, 208k km mileage Accord just verified with an Oilseal leak. Will had slight oil leakage on the floor if let the car idling for days. Shop mentioned need to bring the engine out hence why it is costly. Anyone done b4? Mind sharing well recommended workshop? Accord 2.4.

Yes boss. Do not refer to SC, the SC just straight assume the Engine Mounting. I am the victim. The cost for engine mounting change is RM2600 at SC but the problem did not solve. Then I go outside workshop Honda specialist. They clean the throttle body and relearn the ECU solve the vibration issue cost RM140. I am the one skeptical at SC. Bad experience with SC almost every visit.

There are engine mounting set for Accord made in Japan, from shopee. Rm1k plus. I will use that later end this year.

How to know this issues due to throttle body instead of mounting?

If you park, open the engine bay, start car can see the engine shaking, that is engine mounting problem, if engine not shaking, but when you drive, at traffic light, with aircond on, gear at D, u stop waiting the traffic light, can feel vibration in the cabin, that is throttle body need service.
