Just booked VL A/T with impul kit (Brilliant White) on Monday
Got RM4K rebate, additional personal SA rebate of around RM300, free carpet mat and full tank.

Still contemplating on the colour actually if I should get the grey or the bronze gold... but many told me white looks better with the kit.. but needs body coating to protect the paint..
And it's a 2014 car, so the SA told me that I should be getting my ride by CNY
Oh, and just wondering if those tinting services in groupon etc trusted and reliable? The deals are just too cheap to give a miss, but still need opinions though

why not ask the SA to bring you to the tinting shop? maybe got discount ...

Those groupon tinting voucher eventually u will still top up when u reach the shop. I did for my old car before. Bought 150rm top out around 150 for better windscreen and other color on side screen.
Bear in mind those are cheapo brand la.

if u got high expectation, i am pretty sure you will top up more.
for new car i suggest go for reputable one. they got multiple range as well to suit ur budget

I've drove almera for 9 months already. I saw a few comments couple of months back old Nissan Almera Thread and get to know about Almera's known issue of "metal vibrating sound" coming from the side of the car. It sounded like something is loosen. And it more audible during the first few minutes of first drive of the day.

I've being experiencing this since my car mileage approaching 2K. I've been complaining to SC and ask the technician to check this problem. They have tried tightening the exhaust pipe. But the sound still there.

I've have the car tester driving my almera with me in the car. During the test drive, I've highlighted to him whenever i heard the sound of the vibration. However, he said he cannot hear the sound clearly and visible enough to figure out what went wrong because the sound only come intermittently and goes away quickly. He say he only can identified the origin of the defects if he is able to hear the sound clearly and can reproduce it. And suggested that, i should only bring my car for inspection if the problem become worst enough to be detectable.

Does any1 know what is likely causing the vibration sound ? Perhaps i can highlight to the technician certain part that might went wrong.

Hi guys, Almera driver power window when you press until the second click, it will go down automatically without you need to continuously press the button. What about going up? Can power window automatically going up without continuously press the button?

TC original lebih mahal than 3rd party. Anyway, I'm ok if the quality is quite close. But for Impul bodykit & alloy rims I took original as I don't want any warranty issues.

Do be careful when it comes to tinting. IMO it's better to go for reputable shop/brand as I'm sure you have seen even relatively new cars around town with the whole window having air bubbles. I have a 10 year old Toyota Unser whose tint is still great aside from scratches that's caused by my kids. That cannot blame the tint companylah.

Dont take the tinted...its bullshit...they will raise the price and when you hand in the voucher..its actually no difference...ask for something else equivalent.

i did the rhinepro security tint at 680 at sri petaling. so far a month more only one bubble spotted with a tiny dirt inside.

Hi which dealer you went to? For the RM4k rebate VL version are you still entitled for the Nismo/Impul bodykit?

I think i'm having the same problem with you too which when my car running slow, it have this sound. Waiting for my second service and tell the service center about this. However last time when i went for my first service, i've heard another almera owner complaint for same issue too, and the guy from service center explained it was a common from Almera.

Try cleaning with tissue, might be some diets sticking on the censor.

Very true.. Heard that before.. Thats why I'll make sure its not voucher-type.. The car should be ready with the tints when I collect it....
