manual calculation 9.1 l/100km btw, i was trying to refuel by pulling the fuel cap handle but it doesnt open. tried few time finally opened. seems like the handle need to pull to max to fully release the cap. doesnt seems to be sensitive. |

QUOTE(zizan01 @ Dec 20 2013, 03:23 PM) mine before 1st service 7.2L fc ... but after that is 7.3L fc... i jus went 1k service . they gave castrol grx 15w 40. i did it at johor sc.i wonder why etcm using 15w 50 engine oil for run in??? the owner manual recommended 10w 30 engine oil... there are many types of engine oil... maybe when they said that for run in better used the thicker mineral oil... and i can agree with them. but 15w 50 for me is to thicker and this wil result for high fc ... because the engine will struggle to running and feel berat meh...then you will push the paddle more to accelarate...there are many types of viscosity of oil...maybe they can used 10w 40... are they any suggestion box.. when customer ask whether they can bring their own engine oil...the SA say can but you must fill a form that said they will not responsible if anything happen to the car...it not a user friendly policy...because they dont provide a variety types of engine oil for customer to choice... customer wanted to well kept their own car... but they dont have choice but to follow SOP... this types of marketing not good laah... can anybody tell me if their is other service centre that provide a variety types of engine oil... i also kena for engine oil treatment... this is my 1st experience using JAP car... so i not familiar their types of marketing strategy... feel berat la my car after 1st service... i'm thinking to find other service centre that provide me a choice of engine oil... because after 10k they only provide 10w 40 semi syntetic oil only... it not the recommended types of viscocity oil by the user manual... |

QUOTE(GreenSamurai @ Dec 21 2013, 04:04 PM) then the engine oil only can last 4 k km. at the service the sc aso recomend engine additive callex xxxx hospower. i forgot the first name which cost rm 50. claimed to be recomended by tc. interesting is when they listed down the item to do list, no price list unless u ask. proton sc aso have something like this but at least price were listed. |

QUOTE(GreenSamurai @ Dec 26 2013, 08:12 AM) Guys sorry for the noob question but I saw trip a and trip b on the odometer. What's the difference between the 2? let me answer. no difference. jus extra trip u can use. normally ppl used one trip for service e.g 5000 km so u know when to service ur car. another one to record milleage once full tank. so u reset trip when full tank, when pump in gas again to see the milleage. |

QUOTE(meowtaro @ Jan 13 2014, 04:29 PM) allow me answer this klak klak issues. gear at p klak. when u press break, it will release the p gear lock to release the gear enable you to change the gear knob from.p. when u on air con, especially cold start in morning. huge klak sound indicate opening air con vent valve. if no klak sound means kong. another issues i have is the petrol cap pull sometime not working. it doesnt release fully when pull. so it jam. need to press to lock the cap and pull again. kina annoying especially u worried pulling too hard will snap the cable. |

QUOTE(pheonix_comet @ Jan 22 2014, 10:16 PM) it is due to the spring i guess is under measure. that's why when you added the plastic at there is increase the gap so the spring can push the cap further. then shld be same problem. it is the black metal ? i aso tried to bend it.it help to solve my problem if after done still the same, you have to bend a little on the metal where its contact with the plastic lock.. yes the cap slightly open only so cant open it. worst case need to insert back n pull the trigger again n need to pull to the end till it wanna break. so the problem is the cap cant eject. lousy workmanship. and i think the cable maybe too long cos the trigger need to pull far to 90 degress only can release. anyone visit sc can help asking ? my next visit is march for 2nd service. |
