did you provide them with the  info ?
they did call me also to verify my problem aside from what i wrote in the emails
*
i gave my car n phone no instead. they call n said will investigate but it is not my car tat charge 1 k. so im thinking asking them to provide the compulsary item to service at each interval instead with void of warranty.

hi guys, recently i got a feeling when i drive on a "rough" tar road, i can feel the roughness on the pedel and where i put my leg. its like my leg i rubbing with the floor. is it normal as  I don't remember my PCE plate Saga have this. noise maybe but the vibration between tires and road can be felt on my pedal nope. And sound proof seems getting poor. just drive past 1200km.
*
yup i feel tat too. now concluded tat all car almost the same of tear n wear.

i aso feel when in reverse gear holding break, vibration is noticeable n maybe worst than saga fl i had. overall its a car tat nothing to shout abt n i know im jus driving a brand tat product is slighly better maybe, than local product.

Hello guys,

I am currently considering between the X Gear & Grand Livina but I may opt for the Almera just in case my increment falls short of expectation in June.

Was doing a comparison of the three cars here : http://www.carbase.my/car-comparison?id=246,638,637,.

Got some pretty neat details plus "expert" reviews. What's missing is user review -  or rather true owner experience.

I know the Almera is quite spacious but beyond that can anyone owner here share their experience of owning one please? I travel frequently to outstation so is this a good car to travel long distance? Comfortable?

Appreciate your opinions, thank you in advance. It would also be nice if Almera owners here can share your 1st hand owner review of the car at www.carbase.my. Would really help people like me to search for owners accounts easily.

I currently drive a City iDSI. Any help is appreciated.

long drive engine perform smootly n quite compare to same segment car. dont expect sudden urge of acceleration. on highway the car easily sway by crossing wind but i think can be solve by skirting n bodykit. almera seat is kinda akward where it doesnt feel confortable. window panel is too high if you want to rest your elbow and door armrest is too low aso. so i did get shoulder pain supporting my arm againts it. fuel comsuption on highway 110 km/h around 17.5 km per liter which is on par with my old viva manual. city drive around 10 km per liter at peak hours with 50 % stop go. almera momentum not so sharp as suspension is soft so when breaking the car little bouncy. stop and go is like half second slow compare to other car. gear changing is fast around 2k rpm so losing power aso fast. that will overcome by Over Drive off mode. as for spacious , its legroom n headroom is far best. but interior witdh still same as other b segment car.

or maybe we are too picky? my rear door panel aso got sound hitting when goin uneven road. sometimes jus annoy.

since the reply was "they will first do the verification and checking for me and will get back to me." I guess you should wait a few days and see how it goes.

Regarding 40 k service charges spike to 1k , their reply as follow; answer is putar belit, yes and no up to u. worst than proton n perodua at least theor hidden charges differences are still acceptable from what shown in their respective website.

Dear Sir, Greetings from Nissan – Tan Chong! Thank you for your patience on this matter and apologize for the delay response. In regards to your enquiry, we wish to inform that the price of RM260 was obtained from our TCEAS website which is now is under construction for further enhancement. It is the price of the compulsory services needed during the 20,000km periodic maintenance. The items include the lubrication service (meaning the replacement of engine oil, oil filter and oil pan washer), ECCS – CONSULT Diagnosis and front and rear brake service (which is the replacement of brake fluid and labour charges). There will be additional mandatory services that will be informed to you by the Service Advisor during major service intervals (such as transmission oil replacement during 40,000km). He will show you a list of items that needs your attention. For example, during your 20,000km service interval, it will be recommended to have your air conditioner system serviced. This will evidently increase the total price of servicing your vehicle at TCEAS. As for the warranty, we will have the right to void the warranty of selected parts if the proper maintenance were not carried out when recommended. For example, the drive belt only needs replacement if found faulty upon inspection; it will also be recommended during your vehicle’s 40,000km service interval; yet, the customer can opt not to replace the said part but it is not advisable. This is because if the drive belt is to fail after TCEAS recommendation and caused consequential damages to other parts of the vehicle, TCEAS reserves the right to reject the customer’s warranty plea.

after reading the replies from tceas again. u can skip some item but if faulty or cause another parts faulty. they hv right to reject claim. in short its 300-400 extra need to pay but its aso a gamble if u opt to skip. nissan parts are generally more expensive than honda n toyota some said.

i aso regret to take on so called cheaper car n promotion. which they will take back from thier after service.

fyi, city n toyota major service around 800-1000 too.

this is aso one of the reason im getting this car as branded as most afforrable non national sedan. and i have said even proton n perodua list thier service price honestly.

QUOTE(cheowkwen @ Jul 29 2014, 07:18 PM)
I went a road trip to KL yesterday and when driving back to Ipoh, the bearing humming sound at rear wheel is back again!
This is the 3rd bearing that was just replaced 2 months ago and it was ok before driving to KL.

My Almera just clock in 26K mileage only.

Sigh, have to go to SC again this weekend and i think they will say again have to file report to KL la, wait for feedback and replacement la...bla bla bla...

Really disappointed with the bearing issue. Btw, anyone knows bearing warranty is for how long?
My Almera is one year old.
*
maybe someone can actually take the lead to compile list of owner having this bearing issues n reflect it to tan chong ? so that a permanent solution can provided ? e.g. change supplier of bearing ? its more like a defect of the product. or log case to tribunal?
