the price list on tceas site in my knowledge is basic minimum service charge n required service. there will be additional recomended service, e.g 40k service cost around 1k. see more below regarding the recomended service means.

In regards to your enquiry, we wish to inform that the price of RM260 was obtained from our TCEAS website which is now is under construction for further enhancement. It is the price of the compulsory services needed during the 20,000km periodic maintenance. The items include the lubrication service (meaning the replacement of engine oil, oil filter and oil pan washer), ECCS – CONSULT Diagnosis and front and rear brake service (which is the replacement of brake fluid and labour charges). There will be additional mandatory services that will be informed to you by the Service Advisor during major service intervals (such as transmission oil replacement during 40,000km). He will show you a list of items that needs your attention. For example, during your 20,000km service interval, it will be recommended to have your air conditioner system serviced. This will evidently increase the total price of servicing your vehicle at TCEAS. As for the warranty, we will have the right to void the warranty of selected parts if the proper maintenance were not carried out when recommended. For example, the drive belt only needs replacement if found faulty upon inspection; it will also be recommended during your vehicle’s 40,000km service interval; yet, the customer can opt not to replace the said part but it is not advisable. This is because if the drive belt is to fail after TCEAS recommendation and caused consequential damages to other parts of the vehicle, TCEAS reserves the right to reject the customer’s warranty plea.

wheel alignment n balancing i think no need. service break yes.

other optional include evaporator cleaner n engine oil treatment.

changing air cond filter alone is not considered as air cond service i think. shld have more.

u mean hook shld be U shape instead of n shape ?

i think the additional stuff is fan belt, and air cond related parts. but again, these are recomended services, u can skip it, wont void warranty but if any failure related or cause by above parts will unable to claim. e.g. fan belt snap cause over heating engine , then u not able to claim. so spend additional 150 only. aso if skip this time, next time need to change as well, jus earlier matter.

i think just these two thing that caused up to RM 1k for 40 k service. the rest shld be less.

also, would u guys will go for 60k services ? that will be the last services n warranty aso end. if the car dont have problem that time, going for last service doesnt help aso if any problem after tat. agree ?

it will not cause overall warranty to be void. but any problem related to the flood. e.g. wiring or shortcircuit will not be entertaint. if u wan to sc to check if the flooded spoilt anything on ur car then better not if u do not find anything iwrong with the car. my own experience but not with tan chong but with perodua as my old viva. but i think it will be similar to all waranty given by manufacturer.

i think hospower , octane booster not needed.

valclean n evaporator maybe need as if related part failure due to missing such cleaner may be an excuse for them to reject ur warranty of these parts.

things like hospower n octane booster merely to increase power n fc, so i dont think missing these will cause problem.

mine aso. around 8.9 - 9.3 city.

for higway, kl to jb best aso around 6.3.

im light foot driving.

maybe we din opt for hospower or octane booster ? that is y fc is bad ?

maybe next time i try to take those booster n see if got improvement ?

for me almera really not a fuel saving car. fc similar to my 3 years old saga fl.

for comparison, my another new vios can do 6.8-7.1 city drive. 5.1-5.3 highway.

anyone got insurance for almera windscreen ? how much sum shld be insured ? is 600 enough ? im goin to renew insurance at myeg. my car is 2013. but was quote for 73 k. in myeg only got vl n e variant. both aso qoute 73 k. it is too much ?

y the car so weak ? i use a viva 7 years don hv single problem.

the car is cheap n now getting cheaper but if u hv those problem above after 3 years then gonna cost a lot more.

sell it after 3 years with the resale value low meaning have to pay back bank around 10 k if opt for 9 years loan. wat a car.

air cond fix at which sc ? or need to send ourself to supplier ?

bcos proton n perodua air cond issues you need to send the car urself to supplier like denso etc.

so many part. now i know y got dashboard rattling issues n cooling coil need to dismantle dashbord. is other car aso like tat ?

anyone know what is the part price for almera bearing ? this seems like cost need to bear frequently after 3 years warranty.

normally to keep warranty, service shld go by date. they always say milleage or date whichever come first.

so happen if your engine got problem, claiming warranty will be issues.

this is wat proton n perodua always does. not sure abt nissan. sc will jus keep quiet to let u service. later you wan to claim, it may not be approve.

tahan lasak ? i see many ppl change their bearing ady. not sure is the bearing parts problem or wat. some ppl keep changing after changed.

btw. the bearing price not so expensive. seems cheaper than saga one.

i think ppl here need to share any good workshop that know how to service or fix almera. we cant keep running to sc after 3 years right.
