QUOTE(DaRkSyThE @ Aug 25 2006, 08:46 PM) yups, from OPB himself. HS are just for eyecandy <--- quoted from OPB I'm not sure how efficient the so-called 'thermal pad' used to stick the HS... but I would ask for a naked one if there's an option. But all TeamXtreem from Taiwan are with heatspreaders.

dedicated to DaRkSyThE..... Team Xtreem DDRII-667 (D9GMH power) DDR2-1004 CL4-4-4-13 @ 2.2V DDR1000 @ CL4 is quite easy * Setting above is was not even optimized, only CL-Trcd-Trp and CPC was set manually... everything else is just AUTO. * At 2.1V, memtest showing only 2-3 errors at each Test #5 loops. TF550 has 2.2V option via jumper. It's fixed at 2.2V only.

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Sep 18 2006, 06:36 PM) Muahaha lucky I took a pic of the RAMs with my phone while I was there! if those were to be Micron, I think it's neither D9GCT, D9GMH or D9GKX probably something like D9DCN QUOTE(Mowgli @ Sep 18 2006, 06:45 PM) u got it for RM1300? its pretty cheap IMO...dont think u can find any DDR2 1000 @ this price in Msia..or even from Bulk... TeamXtreem DDR2-1000 2GB is RM1200 @ bulk

QUOTE(Mowgli @ Sep 18 2006, 10:33 PM) IF i am not mistaken, this OPB Edition is somewhat a Limited Edition Memory...
from what i understood, d speciality of this Memory is dat it is guaranteed to do 3448@ DDR2 800 and 54412 @ DDR2 1000, which is pretty impossible on other type of memory??
n i guess it is a one off thingy....n the price of there OPB Ed memory would appreciate instead of depreciate...hm....juz my thoughts...since we cant get it elsewhere...anymore..correct me if i am wrong? Nah.... all TeamXtreem DDR2 are using D9GMH which can easily do 3-4-4-8@DDR2-800 and 5-4-4-12@DDR2-1000. OPB Limited Edition is those made to OPB's specification which is 5-4-4-12 timing and no heatspreaders. It's not impossible for D9GMH to run those speeds. Look at the previous page, my TX DDR2-667 (non-OPB LE) doing DDR2-1000 CL4-4-4-x with only 2.2V, which is within Team Group warrantied operating voltage. it's normal. the RAM is spd programmed to run 667 @ 5-5-5-15, so at default it'll run at that speed instead of 4-4-4-12
if your ram is rated at 4-4-4-12, therefore it's safe to run at the specified speed (requires manually set the timing in BIOS)

D9DCN is not fatbody by the way.
Fatbody is D9DQT/D9DQW something like that.

probably it's safe enough for daily usage at maximum around 2.4V~2.5V.
some crazy people feed it up to 3.0V
