Mine is 1002Mhz. 3-4-4-10 with 2.22v
But can run 10-20 MHz more.. but dint try stable or not.
The new batch is elpeda rite? did u check at retails?

wanna ask,how about high performance ram that using other chip than d9...how they perform? as example,elpida chip...

Most h/p RAM use D9GMH and D9GKX. Even the best are just handpick vers. of them.

i saw some of the h/p ram using the ProMos and elpida chip...so,this h/p ram is not good in overclocking la?

Yea.. got some, but i think hard to find. Those chips are rare. Micron is wellknow and safer choice. But if u are looking for h/p RAMs then should be no prob, becoz most h/p RAM are very overclockable one. Dont see any reason u need to worry.

No one can tell you. It depends on what chip it used and difference sticks will have yield different results. At least state what chipset it used.

i had tried KVR running on Kingston chipset..
mine was the same as ur 667Mhz.. with a lil increment of +0.2Vdimm.. i manage to hit 840Mhz.. anythin more than that.. the pc wun even post

you all overclock until 1000mhz.......got use the heatspreader or not?

Dont need HS.. just put a small fan if feel the chips run too hot.

Its not about the frequency we're running on, its more on how much vdimm we applied to the RAM.

and what bout the timings?
should we focus more on timing or more on the frequency?

Frequency.
Thts why now got 1000MHz and 1200MHz high performance RAMs in market. Its running CL5 only.

ok...i'll increase my memory ratio now..and keep at 5-5-5-15 timings..


it's only my 2nd day into OC...kinda fun..
