I'm not sure how efficient the so-called 'thermal pad' used to stick the HS... but I would ask for a naked one if there's an option. But all TeamXtreem from Taiwan are with heatspreaders.

there was someone on the VR forum that was selling these rams for about 520 SGD.
not sure whether the thread is still there, but may be worth checking it out la if u are interested in these babies tongue.gif

like RM 1300 biggrin.gif *hints cheaper than the corsairs in LYP*
from what ive read, these babies do very well.
i think OPB his DDR 1k with some pretty tight timings. CL4 i think

Guys, I got my Patriot Value RAM today since no one bought one. So I'll be the guinea pig. DDR2, 667, 1GBx2. I'll post data after I got my PSU. cry.gif

DDR1000 @ CL4 is quite easy icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

* Setting above is was not even optimized, only CL-Trcd-Trp and CPC was set manually... everything else is just AUTO.
* At 2.1V, memtest showing only 2-3 errors at each Test #5 loops.

Corsair XMS2 6400C3 good ... confirm Micron.

some updates.....

The best/most stable speed I can get with just 2.2Vdimm....

DDR1034, CL4-4-4-13-2T @ 2.2V

I think my Biostar TF550 can only get to 2.1 Vdimm only.. quite a restriction sad.gif

TF550 has 2.2V option via jumper. It's fixed at 2.2V only.

wah, but i saw OPB doing it at CL3 i think.
gotta re confrim that, but these rams are really amazing.
