Ba had great goal record with PL team, low money move, but also flop what.
So I don't think our recent striker purchases should influence our next one.

Only thing keeping Courtois from returning to the Bridge is the current possessor of the No.1 shirt . It's up to him whether he wants to leave or not. If he doesn't, the club should respect that and allow him to see out his contract. Although it's possible to keep Courtois alongside Cech, it doesn't favor either of their interests'.
From our perspective, we'd want Courtois to gain some PL experience before playing for us, but I doubt he'd want to move from a very strong team in La Liga and also playing in CL, to a PL team who most likely won't be in Europe since we'd probably won't loan him to a direct rival in the league. Ideally, I would want Courtois to replace Cech next season, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, plenty of sharks are lurking for the Belgian's signature. We can't be certain Courtois will remain tied to us for very long. Secondly, Cech is still a very good keeper, experienced, and at a reasonable age. Potential buyers would pay a decent amount for his services. Most fans wouldn't mind letting him go as he has given his all to the club and played a significant role during the club's most successful period. We would be forever grateful to him. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Dec 29 2013, 07:52 PM) this is weird..I want Balotelli and Matic for this transfer window. lel, doubt JM wants to reunite with him. Talented, but performance doesn't live up to his potential (or his attitude). Big no for me.and we not even discussing much about liverpool. hahahaha it will be hard to win against them even at SB..more like a draw..but I believe that Mou can pull something special tonight..hopefully.. As for liverpool game, I'm just wishing for a good result. Very unpredictable game. And with current form of Suarez... |

I trust Terry. JM clearly does too. Cannot see him sitting today's match out.
Lamps a tricky one. But with Rami absent, Lamps almost sure to start. Don't know whether JM is going to try to repeat the tactics against Arsenal. If he does, I have my doubts. Liverpool have the capability to play better than Arsenal that day. Also, we'd have to out-4-3-3 L'pool, who have been playing that way for much longer time and more effectively, and can match us player by player in terms of quality. |

QUOTE(briantwj @ Dec 30 2013, 02:08 AM) On a side note, Mou shud really consider playing Luiz in the pivot. If I am Mou, convert Luiz into pivot player, sign 1 centerback. Pivot midfield problem solved. And also I don't think Mikel and Luiz is a good combo. Mikel always seems to pass the ball backwards and sidewards. In the first half, Luiz was passing delicious balls to Lamps and the forwards. Luiz needs a better balanced partner in the pivot imo. First half Lamps found himself as deepest mid in more than few occasions. Lamps not the most comfortable in possession as deepest mid. Mikel is a better partner for Lamps. Luiz' ideal partner maybe Rami? |

Happy New Year Blues!!
It's been a great year for Chelsea. I like to think the infamous Rafa Benitez' time at Chelsea was a successful one and we manage to emerge victorious in the Europa League. And now the beloved Jose has returned home. Glad to share a part of my 2013 with all you Blues and lets make 2014 a better one. Cheers! |
