hi.. where can i do printing on cd eh?.. my sister is currently doing her photograpic project for her finals and one of the requirement is to compiled all the artwork and images onto a cd. and the cd must have nice printing on it. i already survey some of the company pressing cd and it seems that the minimum requirement is 1000 cd per press and it cost a bomb.

Litescribe might do the trick- take long time though. Or worse come to worse use DIY sticker labels but they are prone to water if you are using inkjet. Try using colour laser jet and they will solve your problems.

urm.. buy those cd printing kits.. it normally provides the cd label sticker, the 'device' to help you stick the label on the CD..
and all you'll need is an inkjet printer.. the best method when doing this is to make sure the CD isn't patterned. try finding a plain or a non-colored side of a CD so that when you stick the label, you don't see other stuff underneath later. p/s: if you're buying the totally blank cd from places like LY, it's safer to pay more for a better quality one than later have the issue of it not lasting by the time the lecture reviews your work. |

I see most people in colleges, what they do is buy those sticker and print it out.
Stomper sometimes not accurate, i don't know. Long time ago, i wanted to buy a stomper, so this sales assistant proceed to do some demo since I have no idea how to use it, after she stomp, the result doesn't look good, not crumple or what, only stick 3/4 of the CD. WTF?! But I've seen some nice results before. Using sticker is the most practical way, in terms of saving cost and less hassle. |
