for flx se, the highest torque is at 4000rpm (not remember),so,secara teorinya,untuk memecut dgn cepat,we should maintain@4000rpm kan..

cvt will adjust the engine speed to the perfect rpm.but i'm owez wondering,y our engine rpm will shoot to 6000rpm instead of stay at 4000rpm which is producing the highest torque.the easiest explanation is - u tekan pedal minyak sampai lantai lagi mau tanya ka.

anyone want 2 share opinion@knoledge..

I haven't been driving CVT extensively enough to draw a conclusion, but what I give is theories for now. Besides, the last CVT I've driven was the City i-DSI.... Or was it a FLX? idk

I also wondering whether it is that one.
I got ask before mieza because she also change mounting in SC.
But she said after change the sound still there.

recently, I found out 1 more funny thing.
when car is hot, even when I step brake, and change N to D, the sound can be heard.
not sure whether that's gonna do with mounting.

I also did a very brave thing.
I went to a open empty straight road, poped up the hood, asked my minister to drive and replicate the sound,
funny thing, I can't hear it from outside.
Probably engine and radiator sound already covered it.

I went once to SC, once to COSE, twice they help me to lock the undercarriage nuts only

putting grease may only be a temporary solution, once the grease dried up, it may come back to haunt u again.
furthermore, I am not sure what material they are using for the rubber pads bushing for the mounting.
Hope its not EPDM because it does not work with mineral oil related stuffs such as grease.

I wanted to change the rubber pads bushing like wat V12Kompressor did but sked SC kacau only.
So far, i do not see any damages caused by the noise, so I just leave it as it is until I am free enough to go loiter in COSE everyday like dares last time
Probably gonna change to like what V12K did after warranty or until the day I cannot tahan dy.
Till now, my solution = blast my music to cover that noise

yes max torque @ 4k.
but it does not lets u stay steady steady at 4k.
when you reach 4k+, if you dont monitor ur right foot, it will shoot down to 6k.
so to remain 4k, you need to monitor ur right food pressure on the pedal.
step too light, it will drop back to 3k+ also.
so right foot accuracy is important

i know that is a temporary solution, but im happy becoz i knw the root cause of the problem. I m sure the same problem will come n haunt me sooner or later. But i do the same things like u did... volume up to 12 with LOUD mode and bass lvl 7. Added tweeter too.
I almost kasih full pedal everytime once i start to move my car from stationary so the sound is actually very very short. But when v let go the padel n step again Tak tahan... Especially following some uncle and auntie driver..

As for the Genting thing, if you whack the throttle like a bull during exit a corner, then of coz u will be slow like turtle. TO be really fast out of the corner, the throttle level has to be opened at all times.

Someone....within a week of getting his new FLX already went up Genting a few times.....

tis time i went to my 1st SC, they quote me 5W40 petronas apa 3000, RM219.
So expensive but quality not bad.. n with the free beg,

Lastime the other SC only got 15W50 or 5W50, forget d... price RM198.

Heavy... But still i can naik genting with ease... haha..

BTW, guys.. i checked proton website for the recommended service manual, 20k mileage actually juz need to change eo, oil filter and gasket only.. those apa radiator coolen boleh tahan sampai 40k, spark plug n air filter 30k.

I change plug n air filter outside d n for this 20k service(atually i service at 22k, coz busy no time drop my car), labour baru Rm45. total damage for my 4th service baru RM290.

So bear in mind, dont kena chop
