The mounting not going to be compatible. Red and black are awesome and "clean" to type on. You press it and release it, no bump or any stickiness to bother you.
Red should do fine, but beginner tend to spam too hard on it, resulting prolonged use not comfortable. For black, it may be a little too stiff for some ppl.
More advanced user can feel some grittiness (sandiness if you like) when pressing for linear switches that are unlubed. These kind of people are anal and has to have their linear switch keyboard lubed for greatness.
Most people don't care.

dayum...even to get a complete tkl valentine set would cost $120 excluding shipping kan bagus if our currency isn't so low...
Stop blaming the wrong problem. Don't solve the wrong problem. The problem is not your currency being low. The problem is because the set is accomodating so many layouts with so many extra keys.
Lololol. So fast 7 pages. Btw, anyone knows what's a fair price for a 2nd hand Poker II ? Plan to use the pcb only. Thanks : )
I booking your case if you get it.

i just take a look back at hyper fuse gb... $75 for a tkl set vs $120 for a tkl set seems unreasonable $95 for a full set vs $143 for a full set...still about $50 difference...
but isn't the font looks like CCnG or Hyperfuse?
oh wait...it's centred...
Gotta take into account that the extra keys are not free, and they are custom legends. So have to pay the custom legends fee.

It is because this is using the 7075 aluminium which double the cost , if it use 6063 aluminium, the price will around 1k rmb only
Buat pa tu? Want to use the keyboard to whack robbers and the keyboard no damage?
I can only think of 1 usage. One poor guy's LZ-GH got treated very badly by the China post EMS sampai the case also bent. Luckily Poslaju not so s0ha-i Very sad case, pun intended.
Other than that, Satu lagi Projek Over-Engineering oleh peminat-peminat papan kekunci..
Same like GON using CNC for Keyboard Plate People use laser cut, $20 kaotim. CNC keyboard plate $50.
phantom plates drawing are available on gh. phantom fits filco right? maybe we can move from there, make aluminium casing from filco body mould or something.
Those plates that allow switches to be reopened are a menace. How many times do you change the springs?
It allows the switches to be pulled out when you have a slightly tight keycap.
my designer need a mark up sample for him to measure the dimension and mark any special placement for usb and screws.. can arrange meeting if you guys interested.. after marking up only can come out with quotation.. material can decide later as i don't know the material grade suitable for this kind of project.. as usual the more people involve the cheaper the production cost.. can put silkscreen custom own name or engraving as well.. for now this in still an early stage for this kind of project..
Can check how much to hard anodize vs soft anodize? Might go down to KL within the next week or 2. Willing to be the Lab Rat
Ya Kaiser(something) cant remember, this popular member here helped me buy this last year and it costs me around RM1400 in total. Happy so happy at that time but the Topre I bought has keycaps black on black so if it is dark I find it sometimes hard to find the right keys. Also I bought the 55g uniform one - oh big mistake cos it's so HARD. Should have bought the variable touch one.
So for anyone here intending to get a Topre Realforce with 55g uniform pressure - don't, unless you have big muscled fingers or like to what keypresses hard...
Boss, you try 5 minute already sold. Topre need to break-in one.
Like when I got topre, i was wtf I spent so much money cannot feel any difference. Then I got HHKB again, cannot feel difference, so regret. After using for few more weeks, the feeling start to get better, and now the HHKB is one of my favourite.
haha, i recently just swap out my presumably faulty keycool spacebar switch. next so-called repair experiment would be done on my fren's DAS. but according to him, seems like a cluster of keys are not functioning, probably not switch
Sounds like bad controller. Very hard to fix like that. Scrap for parts better.
