QUOTE(Versy_CK @ Oct 27 2006, 04:31 PM) long live to this thread my advice is DON feed them with bug/insect too frequent coz will dirty the tank (dirty=will bring disease to fishy)... i learned from a few breeders and they said if u want the aro to become more red then feed them with centipede... i agree... although worms do help but not so significant to me... currently looking for Red/Golden Back to out in my pood with koi... don worry they can match together QUOTE(jaspery27 @ Oct 28 2006, 12:40 AM) sifuu, i forgot about the name for that sickness, but if in the early stage u can put the red medic + salt, keep the temp at around 28C, and do change the water daily, n i let the fish sunbath around 1 hour daily, this is wat i did last time n it did worked guys....actually u can feed them with bugs or any other food...juts bere in mind do not let them left overs that all....if you think that after feeding ur tank got waste...put in a few speedy fish to eat them up such as 'lampam', 'red parrot' or even koi....but make sure that those fish are quite big so that ur aro will not eat them...plz correct me if anything wrong, thnx all sifuu if you all need more help go here Arofanatic lots of tips there... |

QUOTE(jaspery27 @ Nov 9 2006, 12:32 AM) sama just mean mr/mis, but its a very polite form, i am asking u like turtle very much ah, and the last one is welcome you. depends la if you know how to calculate the level of O2 on your tank. but i suggest to keep the pump on la. A fren of mine did like that. What happen was the aro jump hit its head on the tank cover and KO. when he started he on 24hours no signs of jumping only when he started to try off the pump. he lost a RTG for his action. Thats what he told me so i suggest you take note lo.QUOTE(Gnoof @ Nov 9 2006, 08:27 AM) wherw is the aqua fair den ? this is what i heard from the local fish shops and also a Big Shop in Melaka name KING KONG comfirm 18 this month MITC. Not sure la anyway the palce is not far from my place i just go check out. if got lucky if not just a wasting some time lo. you get more details of the Aqua Fair for us la. |

QUOTE(kamekame8888 @ Nov 12 2006, 12:54 AM) Hello Aro lovers....is Silver Arowana worth to keep? Its cheap in price and i see it looks not bad also...long body...is it hard to take care? Or same as other Aros? buy when they are young and get about 5....they can live together if food is enough...when matured you got 5 nice looking aros....thats great....just becareful not to have fin rots.....silver aro is all about having good looking fins...Kamekame. |

sand is to prevent reflection from the bottom glass and ping pong balls is to keep them focusing on top ...bcos theres a distraction everytime the ball floats...
i thin min 3 silver aro will be nice...2 just too little lo... other aro for silver price i think would be the yellow tail lo...but i rather go for silver aro lo....yellow tail is for starters lo...hahahah |
