The Pearl Journey from Seremban to Dengkil

went to Seremban around 11.30++ am
arrived there around 12.30++
discussed with Afad how to 'transport' the fish
after few steps, we decided just to put the fish in the pail i brought
closed with the akuarium border which Afad gave me
then straight to, err...restaurant for lunch, hahahaha

after that, straight to Dengkil, around 2.45pm from Seremban
arrived at Dengkil around 3.30pm
go to the FS near my house, BUT unfortunately, closed
what on earth i'm thinking, why last night didn't buy the aquarium already
my mistake! dem!

so now, have to wait till tonite n see whether the shop will open or not


now, in my 3 X 1.5 ft tank have to divide by 2 for my slivaro n pearl :sweat
so far so good lah

no wonder the fish swam at the bottom and look scared
Afad placed his tank outside facing the street
the street infront of his house is quiet busy with cars n motorcycle
no wonder his former fish look scared

when i put it in my 3 X 1.5 ft tank, the fish quiet active
swam at the bottom n the surface
when i fed him worms n cricket, within seconds it ate 'em
what a relief
still the fish look tired from the journey yesterday

now, wait for the new tank

Got contacted with him last night but he closed for wednesday, dunno y, may be for his good fortune i guess coz last week he closed on monday
going to his shop later this morning before lunch time...

Bought the 4 X 2 ft tank already just now
RM375.00, coz i bought the one with the filter border inside
plus the filter n bio ring =RM375.00
the water pump itself RM45, bio ring=RM10
the tank come with wooden cover, grey steel stand & lamp

the tokey will send it this afternoon, around 1
can't hardly wait

bought tank like me lor
i know the wooden cover not so good but i have one option for u
buy any spray of the colour u prefer
then spray under the cover (the cover inside) to prevent it from fungus
after spray, dry it thoroughly so that the spray odour completely disappear
so, the inside area of the cover is totally water resistant

the tokey gave me RM290 for the 4 X 2 ft tank with the filter's border inside
eventhough my new tank has border but still the tank is big enough for my new pearl
the border actually required below 7 inches n it lasts quiet long
notice that most FS use filter like this

i also put bio ring for my new tank to control the water quality especially ammonia

yeah, of course i can see the red spot on the JAR
the coloration i think ok laaa
may be i have to continue on centipede diet
Afad said he also gave centipede to the JAR in early month after bought it
i show the pics later

the good new is the JAR actually quiet active
swam surface n bottom
i dunno why at Afad's house the fish kinda scare
may be because of the flash of the car windscreen that make it scared
it ate quiet a lot
i fed it with superworms already

i think enough for 2 aros
if i want to get the 3rd one, i have to go for 5 or 6 ft tank
and of course, RTG Aro
err....may be end of next year
actually i'm out of my target, i'm planning to keep 1 aro until next year
but since the attraction of aros aura is so damn strong
can't hardly wait man! Hahahaha

The FS at Kajang got one RTG for RM888
already got red coloration on the body

how to check?

Yeah...RM375 plus the filter media n bio ring
i'm letting the water running for 24 hours now
may be tomorrow morning gonna put the Jar inside it

it's nearly RM500 already, is it a cabinet tank set or just steel?
If u ask the FS near my house, he also selling the cabinet type with sump filter under it
but the price, of course expensive
did u ask the tokey about the cabinet tank prices?

be patience... that's a problem with newbie like me
when i wanna go for RTG, i have to double extra careful when choosing the fish
afraid get con of FS that claimed RTG but end up with 1.5 OR the color isn't that good
might end up regretting on what we have invest

RM888 for 4,5 inches RTG is quite an investment
and a lot of money too

CF said before that sometime the color look good with the effect of black water n lamps

Anybody wanna join me in a trip to JP tomorrow???

It's not a gamble but investment
you never know which aro has the potential
it's depends on your experience also
for example, feed centipede to aro will make it's color more bright
but centipede nowadays is hard to find yeahhhh

went to JP this morning, quiet jammed la KL, crazy Singaporean also flooded, dem!
try to look for the Nami Green at the FS infront of the temple across the road
but bought by someone already
the price range from RM55, RM90 & RM160
got one Green Aro for RM120 but quiet small laa

bought some female betta n 1 bandaraya for my new tank

move the Jar to the new tank already this afternoon
still look quiet stress n scared a bit
gonna have to put the JAR to rest a little while
still eating the superworms
the mouth kinda rosak sikit while moving
i moved it using big plastic but still struggling to get out
making it's mouth even worst
