I'm going on vacation for few days from friday till tuesday

what is your guys advice for my aros?
put feeder fish?how many? RM2 for each aro? RM1 consists of 30 fishs

any other advice? just let 'em starve??
or feed them before leave the house?

quiet worry because this is my 1st experience

found Indo Super red in one LFS tag at rm2300..ard 4inch... nice shape even the best is big fan tail!!
this one for sure promise u nice shape fish.... gota good character since small..

bro, becarefull when leaving ur fish.. i really got very bad experience when leaving my fish before. it happens when i'm going for hari raya trip. leave it for only one days but after return found that all my feeder fish died and my baby aros was sicked!! he looks very2 suffer coz of the water poisoned wif the dead fish... try to medicate but unfortunately it RIP on the next day... havent keeping aros nearly half year after that....

some tips:
1. if u want to give it feeder fish.. dunt put too much.. select the healthy FF only
2. prepare the AC DC or back up air pump in case no electricity for the whole days
3. do wc before u leave it... at least the ammonia level is low and ur fish is in health
4. dun forget to put something heavy on ur tank cover (if ur cover is light).. feared that aros will jump coz of starving or else
5. let him starving... as i know aros can "fast" for 7 days w/o food...

at wat age your aro had full colour development ? looks like i got the wrong lighting...mine abit pinkish...and now my fish is a bit like fade in colour...

wah cant remember lar... but at least 1 year la i think... coz when small its forming the gold rims... then slowly oni the inner parts of the scales will have copper gold color

to get the most natural lighting i use reptile lights forgot wat brand
wanted to buy arcadia but cant find tat time in mlk

so the current light u use bought from where ?....is it white warm light ?

but ended up buyin sera reptile lights instead. if i remember correctly took the whiter piece. coz got 2 types 1 more yellowish abit.


it gives a more natural look xpecially on the colors. dun really like those reddish lights
looks kinda fake lor. then our rtg is gold ma. then if red lights...

in my tank also i put bio ring

my tank set up is the internal filter like FS tank set up
got border on the left side of the tank
the filter media all together in that specified space

Guys, wanna ask some question.

After buying the feeder fish, did u guys straight away put it in ur Aros tank or let the feeder fish be in the other tank first? As i remember, some of these feeder fish were cought in parit longkang and Im afraid that the 'contamination' in the seewer can give the bad effect to Aros

Or the best way is, to self breed the feeder fish? My father used to do this when he own the Flower horn 3 years ago...but only guppy..hahahaha
