hi sifu, as per your advice, maybank 2 card is suitable for my usage, however, im just abit worried on the amex card as it is not too widely accepted by retailers while the other visa/mastercard that comes along only offer ordinary points etc...are there any other cc out there which offer almost the same deal as the maybank2 card amex card?...or least close to what this amex cc offered.
*
So Far as I know Belum Ada lagi CC Package like Maybank 2 Cards: 1 Signup, 2 Cards & 1 GST ... hmm.gif
But anyway U can Refer to Official AMEX Merchant at Shopping Malls List http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/AMEXMajorMall_110713.pdf
Actually there are Many Merchants which Accept Amex Around Malaysia... smile.gif

Glad to have found this thread. Please help me smile.gif

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM42K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: (No Comment)

3. Card required for: Mostly for Installment Plans (furniture & etc.), perhaps also for overseas transaction/spending (not that crucial, nice to have i believe, as at the moment, rarely travel overseas).

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil.

5. Looking at CC from: I guess doesn't really matter. Currently, other banks I am familiar with (not for CC) are Maybank & CIMB.

6. Others: I have started working for 5 months (permanent job). I'm planning to get some new furniture for my new place. I went to Courts Mammoth wanting to use their installment plan, but I found out their total interest rate is equal your spending (eg. for RM5K furniture, total payback after 3 yrs plan is at least RM10K). So, can you guys help with suggestion on any good credit card for my needs?

Thanks.

Hi guys,
I would like to get a credit card for my parents usage, for petrol and groceries mainly.
I dont intend to register their name as they are quite resisted so I cant get them a supplementary card. if i am giving them my existing cc they cant use it too due to signature and not legit.
Debit card got limit to spend depends on my saving inside that account but I dont want to set the limit for them.
So any card recommended? I cant think of any.

Pls Refer to My Post #43 for Your Credit Card Recommendation... smile.gif

@Frostlord,
You can Notice that, the UOB One Card got Similar Benefit with Citibank Cash back Platinum... whistling.gif
But, the Citibank CB Only credit the cash back earned once you reach RM50 & If the cash rebate is less than RM50 for a particular month, the total cash rebate amount will be carried forward to the following month... Whereas UOB credit the cash back monthly into the account... thumbup.gif

Advice and opinion are mostly welcome. Thank you beforehand. nod.gif
