hi guys...the advertisement really deceived me.. sweat.gif

was looking for bulb producing white light (like the ones in lexus or bmw), so i bought meself osram night breaker unlimited as it claimed to produce whiter light, and i saw it has blue coating, 3900K rate, and seeing adverts around it seems white. change it myself and voila, its yellow... sweat.gif

disappointed.. doh.gif but as advertised, it is brighter and softer than normal, but distance, i'm not so sure of the claim. it seems the same. now got extra good condition philips bulb (the existing preve's bulb) who wants it? tongue.gif

anyway...changing lowlight bulb on preve is damn hard...not enough clearance. i think next time i'm gonna ask for professional service. at least they know how to properly disassemble other parts to give clearance or just disassemble the headlamp for bulb replacement. i'm not gonna change the bulb myself again. sweat.gif

*

my car just reach 600km today..so far this is my comment.

- the famous helicopter sound when breaking ..yeahh,it's true LOL
but it happens when you break at high speed to slow down
- I try to speed until 120km/h just nak try but i noticed my steering vibrate a bit.should i complaint to SC or is it normal?

- for highway drive it's quite comfortable.my FC for highway drive is 8.6L
- but for city drive a litlle bit heavy for engine IAFM+ but still ok and my FC is 9.0L.
*
complaint on the bolded part bro, my CFE doesn't have steering vibration even during 160kph

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Feb 1 2014, 09:33 PM)
what is cause of the helicopter sound ? laugh.gif
*
QUOTE(theonlyvin @ Feb 1 2014, 09:59 PM)
Hmmm, so far I have no issue of the helicopter sound when braking. What to claim for the helicopter braking sound yea?
*
just say to SC you have the helicopter sound, they'll replace your rotors for free.
i've got that sound straight coming out from showroom, and after 1500km mileage (this is the time i go for my first service) the sound still present when braking. so they replace it.my SA at COSE write it down as "spongy brake" and he said its common issue for preve so they're ready about it already biggrin.gif

no sound anymore when braking after rotor's replaced. thumbup.gif

Do you need to do tyre balancing and alignment again after the rotor's are replaced?

I notice this helicopter sound as well but only if brake quite hard. If not hardly any sound.
*
oh...i'm not sure. i was asking them to do the alignment as well during my first service since the steering steer to left before the service instead of straight sweat.gif

after replacing the rotor, brake hard too won't have any sound smile.gif

do alignment during 1st service have extra charge?
*
free, on condition your mileage is below 1000km smile.gif

mine during first service is 1500km so they charged rm35 sweat.gif
honestly i don't think they did it good la hmm.gif
steering still steer to the left, reduce a bit only. i think i'm gonna try outside alignment or i'll meet the R3 team for alignment if got time.
rm35 is expensive when i can get rm20 outside. but R3 alignment is rm80 though.. sweat.gif

Not neccesarily.

But if you just started working with an entry level salary with no credit record (credit cards etc.), then yes they might ask for guarantor as they have no idea of your ability to repay the loan.

Having a credit card that you repay on time actually helps you secure a loan than NOT having any credit cards.
*
i don't have a credit card. full loan still secured.. tongue.gif

i think...its based on the strength of the 'cable' of your SA and the bank officer.usually just ask SA to handle this.

My thoughts after drove my car for a week time;

Steering - very stiff/hard when did a full or 90° turn but it feels light when maneuver on straight line. Also, light vibrate when driving above 130km/h.

Turning - I did a 90° right turn with 40km/h and my body leans to the left, quite alot.

Braking - Brake while driving on 90km/h or above, heard a sound from the front, not sure how to describe it.

Acceleration - Jerk below 10km/h or worst, felt engine gonna die off on a uphill jam traffic road.

QC - The infamous kruk kruk sound NOW appears at the rear whenever I goes over a bump. Weird rclxub.gif
Also, whenever I close both my rear doors, there's a "tuk" sound appear at the lower boot.

Do advise me on all these problems, normal or not, so I can bring up this issue on my 1k service. blush.gif
*
check your absorbers? unsure.gif

i'm not sure if i have that kruk kruk sound when hit bumps. i will keep noticed on that.

i haven't got the dashboard rattling problems, hopefully (cross my fingers) even after a year dashboard rattling won't appear

oohhh...i've had the bolded problem when driving from jeram to klang. send to service they say it was first they ever heard this problem. but they fix something on the boot latch. currently not experience it yet and my boot seems easier to close now.

last night, i overcome my fear and drive my preve at 200kph, still stable and no steering vibration thumbup.gif
i love the suspension, stable on corners at speed, not so much a family sedan as advertised, but not so stiff too. awesome.

only problem is the tyres feel like giving away.. sweat.gif

confirmed i've got no "kruk kruk" sound when hitting bumps. IMO bro, u send to SC for fixing the latch of your boot, maybe its correlated to the "kruk kruk" sound... hmm.gif

I've got the power window problem on driver side..

Auto wind up stops abruptly in the middle, auto wind down works fine. just when i was about to arrive at Proton Edar Service Centre the window suddenly function properly! vmad.gif

I've checked there are none any obstacle in the window that let the wind up stops abruptly, but it still did.

I think they simply answer you. It's a different tint model as I read from google, but it's pretty decent.
Need to drill?
I have seen some procedure to do calibration, like holding it up down manually in some sequence.
*
so windscreen and rear isn't eco tint? unsure.gif
we can put on other tint then? brows.gif
